"My 8 yr. old boy loves it , only problem is it is for a right hander and he is a lefty. He thinks Cabelas sent it to him. Because, he never gets mail, and mom and dad always gets mail."

"The combo was purchased as a Christmas present for a 7 year old, although we havent gotten round to fishing this year I feel my son will be well served with this particular rig as a beggining fisherman, my first rod was an uglystik and was with me for a good many years. Thanks"

"I bought 2 of these combos for my 12 year old daughters to use while fishing on vacation. They cast great and are very easy for them to use. In one weeks time they caught both bluegill and bass on these combos. My girls have not been gentle with these combos and so far they have been completely trouble free and seem to be holding up well."

he was very proud to have his own rod.
same day the rod arrived he tested and
immediately was able to handle with this reel.
next day i tried it as well and caught 2 perch
with this combo.
perfect price and good quality.

"My Grandson and I went fishing on one of the Finger Lakes and he wanted to use his new pole. He caught about 12 laker trout between 2 and 4lbs.. The pole and reel combo handled these fish well, also the pliers that came with it cut line and removed the hooks from the fish with out any trouble."

"This pole was purchased for my 6 year old grandson to use. However, this is not just a beginners pole/reel combo, it is a great product. We have been able to cast further and more accurately than with other even longer poles. The tackle box that comes with this deal is also an excellent product...very large, with lots of storage. My grandson has had some very good fishing experiences...the last day out he caught 14 fish...most others around us didn't catch hardly any. I would recommend this product to anyone."
