"I chose this jacket because it looked like a great value, and it ALMOST is except for the most annoying zipper I have ever encountered. It "grabs" at least 80% of the time, and I ripped the material within the first month of owning it. It is also difficult to get started, sometimes taking two or three tries to get the teeth meshed. It's a shame, too, because it's a nice-looking coat and performed fairly well in last year's Vermont winter. Though it may seem trivial, the zipper is driving me to probably buy a different coat for this coming winter."

"The parka is very lightweight but hols in body heat at very low temperatures. I have worn it in - 10 degree weather and remaind quite comfortable. It has excellent wind resistence."

"This jacket has a good outer layer, but the insulation layer is lacking. I noticed that outdoors in the cold, my sholders were chilly and upon inspection of the inner jacket, found that there was no micro-down insulation around the sholders, just the paper thin silk like material that is supposed to cover it. For the price paid, I'd expect a better inside jacket. Also the outside main zipper is a pain to get zipped (due to it having two zipper sliders)."

"It really is three nice jackets and the outer shell is waterproof. The inner liner functions as a lightweight jacket. I wish the whole thing were a little longer, and I wish the hood were lined, but overall I am quite happy with it."
