Carbon Reactivator Passes Test,November 4, 2008
By MDDeerHNTRfrom Baltimore, MD
"I have always washed my hunting clothing in unscented detergents, used carbon suits and stored my clothes in scent-proof containers but still have had problems with deer approaching from down wind. This season has been amazing since I began using the carbon reactivator and other dead down wind products. I have harvested three mature whitetails that approached from down wind and walked directly under my stands without detecting my presence. In addition to the dead down wind products I began taking a chlorophillin-copper pill twice a day and it seems that I am totally scent free in the woods."

restores old carbon, and maintains new,May 13, 2008
By kklhfrom Pueblo, Colorado
"I used this on a 2 year old carbon suit that had seem to lose it's effectiveness. After using this product I notice improvement in game sightings in same area. Can't prove it works, but can't prove it doesn't. Seem to work well for me, and that's all that matters from my point of veiw. now I plan on using it yearly on new scent blocker outfitter series I bought last year. Why pay for the top quality carbon clothes, yet not care for them as well as possible. Surely it's not to much of a risky purchase considering the price of carbon clothing. my suggestion try it on an old carbon suit you might be surprised."

Carbon Reactivation?? I think so.,October 30, 2007
By satwellfrom Melbourne, FL
"I had a couple of old "scent suits" that I had not taken afield in quite some time. The reason was that I thought they had lost their ability to contain my scent. A while back I read that all carbon fabrics, and therefore carbon clothing, has a certain lifetime and number of reactivations. Well, the items I had were purchased in the early wave of the scent containment clothing wave and back then they had a certain chemical smell that I figured deer either were not alarmed by or just plain did not associate with humans. But I did feel they were containing my own odor. Either way over the few years that I used the suits, they slowly lost this odor and the reactivations were becoming less and less effective. I figured that they had finally reached the end of their lifetime. So along comes DDW Carbon Reactivator. I saw this product on Cabelas' website and read the taglines and decided to do some research into it before I purchased. I found that DDW decided to try to modify the segment of their spray that deals with carbon emissions to create a carbon reactivator for scent containment clothing. This would be a detergent that's purpose is to scour the built up odor molecules off of the carbon particles, effectively reactivating it. Made sense to me! I am an engineer and I know good R&D when I see it. It took them a while to get this product to market and that tells me that they truly did come up with a new focused formula and not just a repackaging of the detergent they already had available. The results of my tests were that after use, my suits were once again displaying this chemical smell that they had when I ordered them new from Cabelas so many years ago. Seems like proof positive that the detergent does what it claims. Of course I cannot test the output level of my own odor but I do have a little anecdotal evidence: 4 days ago I shot a wall hanger 9-point downwind at 20 yards while wearing my newly reactivated carbon suit."

"It seems to work pretty well and I appreciate the fact that it claims to really clean the carbon lining and not just the clothes."
