"This shirt is made of thick, soft fleece and is very warm. I bought one for my husband a couple years ago and he loved it so much he bought two more in different colors. His dad bought one too. They are very easy to take care of and long-lasting. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the threads holding the buttons unraveled rather easily, at least on the first one he bought."

"20-25 years ago, I bought a fleece shirt somewhere. I still have it. It wears like iron, the color hasn't faded, I love it. I went looking for more and could not find them. Then, I caught a sale flyer from Cabela's, with fleece button up shirts. I bought one. Somehow I messed up the color selection and did not get the one I wanted, but I wore the one that came and love it. It's even better for my lifestyle than the one I found 25 years ago. It's soft, warm, thick but very comfortable, has double chest pockets ( so I have a place for my glasses AND my phone), and a nice dark brown color scheme. After a week or so, I decided what the heck - went back on line and ordered another in the beige color that I originally wanted. I can't say how happy I am with this product - even in the summer here we have nights that dip to the upper 40s, and this shirt with its square cut bottom and side vents works equally well as a jac-shirt over a tee to take the edge off."

"Good quality fleece, nice medium, flexible weight. Good for layering or soft on skin when worn alone. Hubby was pleased to have a fleece in plaid for variety. He'd previously only had solids. He likes the shirt style vs fleece pullovers because of pockets, ease on and off and easy layering. He wears it most sitting on the couch in the evenings to take the chill off (we're pretty frugal with the heat). I'm sure he'll have it at the beach for cooler night fishing too. He wears L or XL depending on the make. I got XL in this and it fits just right."

"GREAT heavyweight fleece shirt! I bought two of them in different colors. Both fit great in 2XL. These are soft, comfortable, and warm. I bought them because I had tried a couple no-name fleece shirts last year and really liked them. These are much nicer material. No plan to use them as jackets, and I don't think they would serve all that well in that role. But living in New England, these are perfect winter weight wear!"

"The shirt came with a seam that is improperly stitched, resulting in a sleeve with a slash in it. I can probably fix it but should not have to. I hope that the other 3 I bought are properly made, as I love the shirt. It is so soft and warm.

"This fleece is absolutely great. I have used it in many outdoor activities like chopping wood and around bonfires with friends. I have gotten many compliments on it also. It is also a perfect shirt that is not too heavy and not too light for wearing while playing poker, or just relaxing by the fireplace.
I honestly can't tell you how soft it is. I usually wear a tshirt or undershirt underneath it and it feels great on the bare skin. It keeps you nice and toasty.
I would not suggest wearing it in rain or snow, as the water will seep into the fleece and you will end up freezing your butt off.
Overall, it is a great fleece for during the winter and on those chilly fall/spring days. The colors they come in are excellent, I purchased the dark brown and the light brown. Stop reading this review and buy this shirt already!"

But be sure to order at LEAST one size larger than normal (I have a similar shirt from about 10 years ago that is a large....so after reading an "order large" comment in another review I ordered the 2X. It was too small, so I returned it for a 3X which is just a tad larger than my old "large".)"
