Built for the serious hunter who is not afraid to pursue game when weather turns foul or the terrain rugged, this big brother of Nikon's popular Trailblazer compact binoculars is born to hunt. That's what ATB (all-terrain binoculars) are all about. The ultraslim and durable rubber-armored body is easy to grip in wet conditions and defends the lead- and arsenic-free Eco-Glass inside from the inevitable hard knocks a hard hunt brings. With nearly 20mm of eye relief and turn-and-slide rubber eyecups, these binoculars can be adjusted for comfortable viewing by anyone. Waterproof, fogproof and impervious to rain, snow or sleet, this is one tough optical tool. Generous coatings of anti-reflective compounds on the lenses aid in the delivery of crisp and clear images as you scout for that trophy you seek. You'll find the Trailblazer ATB light enough to take on long treks, but capable of producing images with more than sufficient clarity and brightness to be your stand-alone binocular.

Very good for the price, September 10, 2009
    By JTinDenver from Denver, CO

"These binos are nice and are of good quality for the price. The only drawback, for which they did not get 5 stars, was the fact they are a bit heavy and wear on your neck after walking through the mountains for a day."

Great Idaho Binoculars, February 11, 2009
By poolehunter from Mountain Home, ID

"I have used these several times now and i have no complaints. they are easy to use when you are in a hurry and they allow you to see clearly even when it is foggy or rainy outside. I love the way they are built with the rubber coating around them, they feel sturdy and i have dropped them before and it hasn't even left a scratch. Good Product for any of you hunters out there."

    Solid Binoculars, December 20, 2008
    By WiscoHunter from Northern Wisconsin

"I bought these for a Montana elk hunt and was really happy with the performance. They are bright, as well as durable. They got banged around a bit with some of the climbing we had to do, but they stood up with no problems at all.

For the money, you really can't go wrong with these.

    Trailblazer Blazes, December 15, 2008
By 12Stitches from Grand Ledge, MI

"These binocs are well worth the money. Clear vision brings the deer right on top of you when they are out at 150 yards plus. Was able to notice buttons on a button buck at 175 yards. For the price these are a steal when comparing to others in their class."

    By Scout123 from Wausau, WI

"I've had these binoculars for about two weeks now and have only used them once. The times that I have used them they were very satisfactory. The amount of light that is brought in is exceptional. The only drawback is the size and weight. Otherwise a very good product."

Less than Monarchs but just as good, September 24, 2008
    By IHuntItAll

"A friend of mine suggested the Nikon Monarchs. I had to buy alot of new gear early this year and my budget was getting tight. I researched and compared the Nikon trail blazers to the Nikon monarchs and found no difference except they are about half the price. Same specs same warranty. After 10 straight days of Elk hunting I will tell you, I looked through these glasses for many hours each day. They are clear, tough, light gathering, and comfortable. An excellent product. I would suggest these to anyone!"

    8x42 Trailblazer, September 11, 2008
    By 250SAVAGEOLDBUTGREAT from Brick, NJ

"I've worn glasses since I was five. Until recently Binoculars were not designed for those who wear glasses. Those units that were, were out of my price range. After looking at several manufacturers and models I without hestitation chose the 8x42 Trailblazer's for the following reasons: 1. The price vs quality is unbelievable. They are without a doubt the best binocs for the price that you will find. 2. The eye relief is extremely good (for those who wear glasses and those who don't) 3. The image is as clear as units costing several times this binoculars price. 4. They are reasonably light. 5. They gather light very well so you'll see that bird or buck at dusk and dawn. 6. As this binocular's price isn't cost prohibitve you won't be afraid to take them into the field without first wrapping them in bubble wrap. 7. They carry a twenty-five year warranty and unlike some other companies, you know that Nikon will be around in twenty-five years. Being a guy that doesn't have a ton of money I shop long and hard before I part with my hard earned cash and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great set of binoculars at a very reasonable price. The only thing they lack is snob appeal but I can deal with that."

    Nice for the $$, August 25, 2008
    By hardpan from texas

"I bought these for my son, and i use ziess. they are amazing for the money, and it is hard to see why i would spend 1500 again on a different pair. Only complaint is that they adjust a little slow with an old fashioned knob. Really nice job! I am going to try the scopes next."
