"Great holster. Tried EVERYTHING on the market to carry my .40 XD, and this is the only one I could get to work with while wearing a backpack. Stays securely on my waistbelt strap and is a very safe way to carry a sidearm while in the woods."

"My first holster for my first 1911 and it is amazing! I don't have much to compare it to but so far this holster is what it's all about. Very affordable and functions as described. I have a Para Ordnance GI Expert 1911 and it fits perfect! Very smooth and easy draw and it's adjustable. The picture is not right on the website but whatever.... IT'S AWESOME. It's a paddle holster and the paddle is very comfortable and not easy to get off your pants once in place. The paddle is black and the holster itself is more of a gray-ish color. Still no complaints. Would highly recommend this for range or carry. Not very concealable so if that's what you do, try something else. Otherwise.. this thing is great!"

"Product holds the weapon well. The color appeared Black in the catalog and on-line, however in real life it is Gray which does not match my gear rig. A better description of the color and surface finish would be in order."

"I picked this up at the store for my G23 and it came with both the belt and paddle, I like the paddle better it feels more secure. Its a little hard to get off but i guess thats a good thing. Gun fits great in it. I know of many other police officers who use this on and off duty to carry the glock and they seem to like it as well. My friend has one for a 1911 but i havnt heard on how it performs yet.

"I wanted a good belt holster & didn't want to pay $75 to $100 or more for it. It is well made & should last a long time. There is no way my gun could fall out accidently, no matter what I was doing. Yet I can draw it right out when I want it."

"Bought this for a Glock 23. The paddle is very comfortable, easy to put on (don't have to deal with a belt), and the holster itself can be adjusted to the angle you like. The pistol WILL NOT come out unless the button is depressed, and it's very light. I only have a problem getting it off. there are small hooks that prevent the holster from coming off your hip easily which in the end is a good thing and why i gave it 5 stars"

"This holster is awesome. I own four of them. They are great to wear on the town in a clean enviroment, or the range. the big problem i have with them, they have worn or scratched the finish on all four of my guns due to dust/debri. even if the hoslter was clean, movement of the gun within the holster wore the finish. I will use a leather holster for long term carry"

"I work for a Private security company and use this holster and the Blackhawk holster for a 1911 Colt. I have Used these holsters and many others and By Far These are the best. I found that I can run without fear of loosing my pistol, also wrestling around the firearm is there secure and in place. I would recommend these holster's to ANYONE who does anything in Law Enforcement. If your pistol becomes a little hard to come out take a little bit of car polish and lightly wax the inside of the holster. That makes the Pistol come out smooth."

"its a great holster. it is easy to draw from, it is adjustable for cant, both forward and backwards. its only small flaw is how far it sticks out from your body. its not an easy to conceal holster. it prints in plane cloths. but for carry around the farm, or in the woods its awsome. the paddle attaches to your belt well, it is wide, and comfortable. ive got one for a 1911, a g23, and soon for a sig 226. simply an awsome product from blackhawk, and from cabelas."

"I found that this holster was much easier to use than 2 other major players in the Kydex holster biz. The others tend to require a good jerk to have them come free. This one slides in, snaps. Then slides out with little or no effort. The release is really easy to learn how to use. It will become second nature within a few practise draws.
The only thing that I didnt like was how wide the paddle was. Its still comfortable but wider than most.
To sum it up, its a great holster thats easy to use. The gun stays in until you are ready for it to come out."
