"Handsome case, quality tools, but lacks instructions as to what is in the box. Lots of pieces, took a while to figure out what was in the box. To complete this product a layout of what is in the box, plus gun oil and a cleaning product would make this Kit complete."

"The price is low on this item but you get what you pay for. The one I got arrived with missing parts and the cleaning rods are weak and bend easily. There are I think three different size rods and different size threads to attach the brushes etc. which makes it difficult to use. I do not recommend this product."

"I received this kit as a present. I had to send it back for exchange because one of the brass jugs was not threaded and it was missing a 17 cal. slotted patch part. Also, one of the smaller rods was not threaded straight, so it had a slight bend in it when assembled. All of the threading is imprecise and some of the intended joints only worked after very careful manipulation. The rods require the use of one or four brass knurled adapters in order to attach the brushes, swabs and chugs. I am a bit concerned sending a knurled brass part up my bores. the 17 caliber brush was really more like a 12 caliber, too small. The mat is cut just large enough to not fit in the box out of diagonal, which is an easy fix. The rivet on the pistol rod handle screw cover was not finished making the whole cover assembly very difficult to thread as it was loose. The multitude of adapters is confusing, but might just enable the clever use of all those other gun kit brushes, swabs and chugs. Cabelas is as usual, no problem on the exchange."

"this is a good cleaning kit, although the cleaning mat is a little chincy, barely big enough for handgun cleaning. overall though this has all the hardware needed for most cleaning jobs(no solvents). could have used a chart of some sort to show what all the pieces are and where they go(should things get misplaced), but the quality is very good."

"This was my first clean kit, so I can not compare this to others. The quality of parts is top notch, but how they connect together is very poor. The first time I used this kit was on my Ruger 10/22, one of the connecting rods became disconnected from another connecting rod and became stuck in the middle of the barrel! After this experience I will be buying one piece cleaning rods and I recommend you do the same."
