"After installing i noticed that the factory Ruger magazines get stuck. The Tapco stock replacement fits too tight around the magazine release and will not allow for the factory 10 round magazines to fall out or release with ease. I had to file the plastic down around the magazine release and it is still tight. Overall i am happy though."

Instant Sight Picture,

"This stock allows me to throw the weapon to my shoulder
with an instant sight picture (iron sights). Unlike the wooden
factory stock that always cramped my arm and made me work
for a sight picture, this Tapco stock fixed it for me.

Good, not perfect.,

"I bought this stock 50% for the aesthetics, and 50% to get an adjustable stock to allow my son to shoot the 10/22 a little easier. The adjustment works great. The looks are good, but it has minor finishing flaws. The picitinny rail on the top is anchored with what looks like wood screws. Not sure how many times I can take that off for cleaning before the holes strip out. I planned on leaving the upper rail off, but it feels flimsy around the barrel without it.."

"A comfortable and efficient upgrade. Well worth the money and the time to installe. I did have to sand some of plastic for the butt tube adapter to fit the rear of the upper stock. Don't take too much off, because you want a good tight fit."

"Well made stock and easy installation. Did not like the 6 Wood type screws fot the top mount (my only negative). Added a look of coolness while dreducing weight, will not work with .920 barrels unless modified."

"stock fits very good very comfortable, only complaint is that one of barrel shroud screws was not drilled, other than that very nice
great for adding a tac light used a weaver scope ring mount to a 1" diameter led flash light...sweet. thanks cabelas:) fast shipping,
been a customer for 15 years. only 4 stars because of the lack of quality control(undrilled hole)"

"The Stock was not bad, but it really wasn't that good either. Made a little on the cheap side but wil function for my needs. Just a hint this will only work with standard barrels. Bull barrels wil not fit."

"The Tapco 10/22 stock is fairly simple to install with a few basic tools. Required no modification to the rifle or stock. Only problem encountered is the difficulty in switching from the curved stock assembly (for shooting with optics) to the straight stock assembly but otherwise a well built stock that enhances the look of the factory rifle and readily allows use of accessories."

"Package came as advertised. Most of it fit well but around mag opening I had to modify the stock so the mag would slip in and out correctly. Have not had long enough to see how it will hold up to usage. Looks good and feel comfortable to shoot. I would spend the extra money and get one made from aluminum next time."

"Everything was good quality and went together perfectly. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is that i have to take the top rail off to break down the gun. I'm worried over time they might strip out since its only plastic. Even though I'm still very happy with the purchase."

"We have really enjoyed our tapco Stock. We replaced the brand new wooded stock on our Ruger and it looks and feels awesome. The collapsable stock makes it a perfect fit whether my son or I am shooting. The rails allow many options of accesories. I would definately recomend this stock to anyone with a 10/22."

"Well i bought the tapco 10/22 stock that looks like the ar15. The stock went on pretty easy and i didn't read the directions. The stock itself was made very durable the only thing i did not like was the finish on the stock was little dull. So if thats ok for you then i would recommend this product."
