"I recently visited your Louisiana store and saw these lures and thought that I would give them a try. I have to say that they are the best lure for Redfish that I have used. I'm partial to other lures like the redfish majic and spoons but these took the cake. I have purchased 30 plus packs to stock my box with. A great live lure for any type of fishing, fresh and salt water."

"This swim bait has by far and away the best action of any swim bait I have tried. The only thing I would change about the bait is the hook slots have to be hollowed out more. There is a little bit to much plastic in the main body of the bait."

"I was fishing the other day with several family members friends and we were fishing in a pond that no one ever fishes in so we felt like we were going to have good luck even though it was 100 degrees outside. Several different Lures and live bait were used to try to tempt the largemouth bass into striking but only Magic Shad worked. It has always worked at all the ponds that is fish! The most realistic swim bait on the market!"

"I had picked some of these up in the 3.5 in the shad color. Stayed in my bag for a long time, last week I riged them with an owner 1/8 oz swimbait hook, 3/0.. so on my 2 cast thought i hung up,, i did on a 2.5 lb bass, 5 bass later,, Yes i am hooked as well,, Buy them try them.. I have ordered several more sets in several colors and sizes.."

"Love the Live Magic Shad's. Rig the 4.5" w/ a 3/0 hook, toss it in the water and fish it like a jerk bait (maybe not quite as fast as a hard jerk bait, but give it a pop and reel the slack). The action is fantastic!
They aren't the most durable (it's a softbait, after all) - but well worth the price for what they produce. I fish them super-shallow - or over the top of deepwater weeds for largemouth AND smallmouth bass."

"This is a real active swimbait! It's great when retrieved steadily, and/or twitched on the retrieve. I glue eyes on them and they really produce lots of hits! I would recommend trying them!"

"The action on this bait is awesome. The problem is the nose is too narrow and because of the salt content they tear up way too easy. They definitely catch fish and I guess that is all that counts."

"I bought this after reading reviews. Used it few times, and it seems like a great lure (in theory). I mean it swims great, and it is a great imitation of a real thing, but I haven't had any success catching anything yet. We'll see in the future."

"You will see great things from this lure. Best action i have seen and unheard of versitillity with a swimbait make this lure the first one i have been excited about in years. though i have only fished with the lure one time before a bass ate it whole, it has definantly made my top five of lure selection. "Lake Fork really got it right with this swimbait! This lure has the best action I have ever seen and you can rig it in so many different ways too.I prefer weightless with the watermelon pearl color or magic shad.Went out for the first time this lure this morning and within an hour of trying this lure out,I hooked up with the biggest largemouth I had ever caught!(about 7 or 8#'s)using a weightless 4-1/2 watermelon pearl.I caught only two more fish in the next three hours(2,3#'s). Cant wait too try the 5-1/2 next time out! I'm ordering all the colors in 4-1/2 and 5-1/2! Great job lake fork I give it ten stars!"
