with modern technology. The most noticeable feature is the coyote ruff outlining the hood. Coyote fur is one of the
warmest fur insulators available, making it functional as well. For storage of essential gear, there are eight
pockets: two cargo, two handwarmer, two chest, one chest technical and one sleeve. The adjustable drawcord keeps
cold breezes from sneaking up and robbing your body of heat. Imported.

"I ordered this parka and I was very disappointed. It does not look warm at all. It is 100 poyester fill and not one down feather in it. Down is what keeps you warm.!!! The only nice thing about the coat is the real fur around the hood but that will not keep you warm out here in our kind of winters up north. I guess I should have checked what "Micro Down" was and I will not order another produced from Cabelas as the hassle of returning it from Canada is not worth it."

"First worn on 2 mile walk with temp at minus 06 F. with a light breeze. This parka didn't keep me warm. The hood is not snorkel type and the coyote fur trim is too skimpy. Cold seeped in through out coat. A draw string waist would have helped. Construction seems to be excellent. Would not wear for extended time under 30 degrees F."

"I like all the features of the coat but it is not warm enough for our Michigan winters. After walking the dog for ten minutes in 20 degree temps (no wind) my back and chest cavity were very cold. If you are looking for a coat for extended cold weather outdoor use, you may want to look elsewhere."

"Warm in the coldest conditions of wind, snow, and sub zero temps. When traveling those wind wipped manhattan canyons or shoveling out my house. This baby kept me as snug as a bug in a rug. It gets aired out in the toughest conditions and has served me well."

"I purchased this jacket in late Nov. 2008 and before Christmas 2008 the seams near the pockets started to separate showing the inside and the zipper is very difficult to get started. Don't get me wrong this coat has potential it just needs better workmanship so i would not recommend this item."

"I bought several parkas on line from other companies and thank goodness finally ordered my Cabela's Micreodown parka. "This thing is awesome - super warm! The hood size is adjustable and I love the fur. The only thing I dont like it the reflective strip on the back across the shoulders. I dont remember reading that it had the strip but I plan to take it off. Other than that I love it!"

"I needed a coat that could truly stand up to the elements and this is the one. I wasn't looking for a ski jacket, I needed a coat that would keep me warm and dry in the nastiest of weather. I needed a coat that could keep me warm while I icefished, shoveled, or just stood around in the snow. "What you don't see in the pictures is a reflective strip across the back. At first I was bummed out about it, but then I thought, "Hey, you're wearing a coat that could blend when you're not surrounded by snow. A reflective strip isn't a bad idea after all." The coyote ruff is coarser than I would have liked, but the coat fits great and I'm a big guy. The number of pockets is fantastic. I've recommended this coat to a number of friends. It's also warm enough that I was comfortable in the negative teens."
