"the call itself sounds great for the price, it's very easy to blow, and has yet to freeze up, iv'e hunted down into the single digits with it. the instructional cd is worth every penny of of this kit. buck gardner does an excellent job of teaching you to call ducks. thanks to a few hours spent practicing on my drive to work every morning i can now get ducks to come into my decoys. as for the dvd, it's alright, fun to watch, but we don't have the numbers of birds in upstate ny that they have where the hunts were filmed so it just makes me jealous. overall a great kit for the price and a must have for anyone beginning in duck hunting."

Almost too easy to use,

"This call is great for first timers. Doesn't take very much air at all to make it sound pretty good. The only issue is that you have to really be careful with the amount of air you put in this call. You can lock the reeds up and make it sound like a party horn very easily. I mastered this call in two hunting sessions. I would also say you don't want this call if you need a long distance hail call. I found this only good in 150-200 yard situations. If you try to get too loud it locks the reeds up and you are in party mode."

"This call along with the cd is a great learning tool for beginners. The sound range is about average with what would be expected from a double reed call. I definetly prefer my RNT single over this double when it comes to range. On the other side, the raspiness you get with the call sounds great. Where the kit really excels is in the cd. Buck breaks down the art in terms that anyone from any skill level can understand. Even if you dont buy the call look into buying the cd, you wont be disappointed!!!"

"This is one of the best starting kits out there. Excellent 2 disk DVD and a well-pointed insrutional CD. The CD goose over all the basic and more advanced duck calling tequneacs, and the reference sound divide thing gives you 4 kie calls to refer to wile practicing.
The Double Nasty II is loud and clear and easy to use, and kills those ducks.
To good of an offer to pass up."

"Just so you know the DVD is the 4th volume, despite what the details say, it is the Made in the USA volume.
Awesome call and the littel electronic call maker is great for your key chain to remember how to make a call, and also the dvd has good instructions and the audio CD is amazing it explains it all from beginner to pro!
worth the cheap cheap price it was!!!!!!"

"This is a good over all value. The cd is a plus for those new to calling. After listening to the cd you are ready to make any call. The call itself is easy to blow, easy to master, and sounds great. I've had many complements on the call. The only reason I gave it a four star is because as previously stated the call occasionally sticks when wet."

"i havent really got to use this call afield alot but so far just practicing with it, it sounds really good. the call requires almost no air to work so its excelent in long calling sequences. the double reed makes a real raspy sound and it can be a very loud call. i have had the reeds stick together on occasion so definatly have some good back ups in the blind if you have to do some quick short calls."
