"Installed on Remington 700 .243win as a cheap scope while I saved up for a more expensive one. I still haven't bothered with the expensive one as this one has been dead on at 100-300 yards for over 120rounds. While the eye relief is a bit touchy over 10x magnification, that's my only complaint, and this scope is a steal at these prices."

"I mounted this 6-24x scope on my 8x57 Mauser and had excellent results zeroing it in and shooting very accurately over 500+ yard shots. However, that was short lived as I only put about 30 rounds through it until the reticle dropped and my hots are all six feet low even at 100 yards wit the elevation adjusted to the max. I have contacted Cabelas and they were helpful. However, the scope is less than great for reliability if shooting a larger caliber."

"I ordered this scope for its combination of features and price plus Cabela's website said it had a lifetime warranty. When I received it, the literature said it had a one year warranty. Big difference!!!! Cabela's made it right by discounting another brand scope in exchange with a lifetime warranty."

"Can not recommend this item to anybody. Scope has horrible eye relief issues, I spend more time trying to adjusting my head back and forth than I do actually using the scope. I got what I paid for, pure junk!"

Too tight to turn,

"The power adjustment ring consists of a slotted metal ring with a ribbed rubber insert. The metal ring is so tight that the rubber insert just slides around it making power adjustment nearly impossible. I emailed BSA about two weeks ago. Their web site says they will respond within 48 hours. I have not heard from them yet."

"I purchased this BSA 4X16X40 mil-dot scope as a gift. My sonhad it mounted on his Remington VTR .223 rifle. We both like the clarity of the scope and the recticle is a useful tool. It is very dificult to zero the scope and it seems to not hold zero. We will try once more then decide to return it or not."

"I have never, in my hunting life, used a scope so powerful with the IR included. I can shoot a quarter sized shot pattern at 100 yards with almost no light. I was going to sell my 270 until I had purchased this scope."

BSA MIL DOT SCOPE,

"I've had mine now for almost 4 years and have it on a remington 700 30-06. I took it to Wyoming and shot a 5x4 muley with it at 225 yards. Next year I took it to Colorado and shot a nice bull elk with and shot some whitetails with it. Great scope for the price. Gonna get another one probably for my 243."

"The scope came by ups yesterday, put in on a Ruger M77 Mark II 243....bore sighted the old fashion way, it shot high left. Two adjustments and it was right on at 100 yds....Thinking of getting another for the wife's rifle....."

"Great Scope, I have this mounted on a AR-15 Panther ARMS rifle and can maintain 1/4 inch groups at one hundred yards. The lighted optics work great in lower light conditions and the mil-dot increments are right on every additional one hundred yards. Cabela's shipping was lighting fast, I ordered this on a Sunday and it arrived the following day with standard UPS shipping. Great Service!!!! and a fine product at a affordable price.

"Tight scope! Mounted on a .223 WSSM coyote rifle,the scope zeroed in 3 rounds @ 100 yds.Went to 300 yds.,and the first dot down was exactly dead on with the scope set on 6x.Tracking was perfect and zero remains after many rounds.
Just as clear as my other over priced optics.Cheaper sometimes is better...cool!"

"I installed this scope on a Remington 770 chamber in 30-06 and I am producing 1" MOA groups at 100 yards (with cheap ammo!.) The magnification and clarity of this scope is unbelieveable. The precise adjustment of the 1/8 of an inch is priceless. I haven't yet shot over 100 yards but I am planning on it. The turrets are firm and crisp, when you turn the turret; you defenately know you did. Everything on this scope is awesome and the best part is real cheap for A+ quality scope. And Cabela's customer service is the best, and lighting shipping!"

"I have owned one of these for 2 yrs now,I don't write about these things until I use them.The BSA scope is in my opinon one of the best hands down.The illuminated recticle is flawless and you have no trouble with low light conditions that make other scopes useless.Ihave and will continue to use these scopes on my rifle.It takes the abuse i dish out and has never been knocked off zero.I put this on .308 and it doesn't bother it at all."
