"I liked this video... good view of what to expect from a solid hunting dog. Like other reviewers I thought some more injections of "normal" dogs and beginning owners that goofed up would be nice. I would love to see how he handled it. This is a great video for someone who has a clean slate puppy... in that it really gives you things to think about with training and behavior, stuff I wish I would have had my dog as a puppy to impliment (I adopted him at 1 years old)."

"It had some helpful info with good training segments. My only complaint was he used mostly trained dogs to demostrate segments, which was probably the best way to make the video, but it would have been nice to see some real world puppies."

"This video is excellent, I have already trained one lab and I'm getting another in a month. Mike Stewart has already solved problems I was having with my old lab but now I feel fully prepared for the second. He will teach you how to set your dog up to be successful. One example of this is when he is training on retrievals and there is a danger of your dog not coming back to you he instructs the trainer to drop the bumper along side a fence. This may seem simple but it's eliminating room for error. There are plenty of great exercises on this DVD and pay attention to his body language and how the tone of his voice is always the same when talking to the dog. He doesn't yell or scream it's always the same calm tone. Basically this video is training humans on how to train their dogs."

"This video is well done and good quality. The one issue I have as someone who is training puppies (and a beginner) is that even though it is clearly stated that at least 50% of your training time should be devoted to obedience training, not much is covered in detail in the video. However, this is still a very solid video with good techniques that I would recommend."

"Before buying this DVD I did not think I would ever be able to train a dog on my own. Now after watching the Wildrose Way I know that I am very capable of training my own dog. Mr Stewart does an amazing job breaking down the process in very easy to follow steps. The diagrams are priceless! Also it is amazing how these dogs are trained with minimal "training equiptment". If you have trained 10 dogs or your getting ready to train your first this is a must have DVD."

"I had bought two British Labradors, and started basic training with basic commands. In the mean while I ordered the above dvd. When it arrived I couldn't wait to watch it. The training video was everything I had hoped it would be and alot more. You can watch the whole video, then if you want you can watch each part in sections. This is very good when you want to keep reviewing the training sessions. I would recommend the dvd to all interested in training their dogs."
