Rubber Backing Wears Off Fast,

"The Avery sling is nice looking, light, holds the rifle very well to shoulder, comfortable to carry, however.......my youngest son and I each have these slings and in just one week afield, the rubberized backing nubs are wearing off. I can see once they are gone, the gripping quality of the sling will be gone, essentially rendering it useless. Overall a disappointment."

"This sling is awesome. Camo pattern is just what I wanted. Swivels are bomb proof, quiet and mount easy. Rubber padding on inner side is comfortable and stays right where you put it. 2nd one I bought and would buy another"

"An excellent sling and perfect for heavier weight guns such as a muzzleloader or Turkey shotgun.
Very good camo pattern and has comfortable padding with a rubber type coating that helps keep the sling anchored onto the shoulder so gun doesn't slip off easily.
It comes with swivels too.
Well worth the money !"

Lightweight and comfortable,

"I have used this strap on my lightweight 7MM all season and have found it to be very comfortable. I would recommend a heavier strap for a heavy(Bull barrel or Sniper/Varmint) type of rifle. But for a mid to lightweight rifle it carries well. Seems to hold onto the shoulder pretty good when carrying. I would buy another, for the right rifle."

"Nice sling. The only thing I do not like is that the edge of the strap that connects to the stock acts like velcro. I causes a scratching sound against soft hunting clothes. Moved it from my rifle to shotgun."

"I purchased 2 of the Avery Finisher Sling(s) and both me and my frined I gave the 2nd to as a gift LOVE them!! They stay on your shoulder while walking so you can use both hands for other things such as glassing for game etc. This is by far the best sling I have owned!!"

Perfect for my rifle,

"This rifle sling fits my rifle, a Ruger .223 Hawkeye, like it was made for it. It carries very comfortably, does not slip off my shoulder and looks good too. Mine is in Mossy Oak Break-up. I use the gun for coyote and ground hogs and often travel rough terrain. The Avery sling makes this a very secure method to carry my rifle safely."
