Looks great. BUT TO SMALL!!!,

"I have 80lb. lab, hard for him to get in and turn around. He cant sit up in it. Had it for 10min. in living room wire coming out bottom side of it. I would really like to use this design. I hunt on the bank of my local lakes, height not a problem for me. I really like this design over the rectangle designs. I was really excited to use this design and would give it 5 stars for design. But to small, sending it back!!! They need to offer different sizes!!!"

"FA really dropped the ball on this one. i own 4 eliminators and two x landers and love them. so i bought the mutt hut and hunted over it once for three hours the spring poles blew out the bottom of the blind and a hole developed in the stake pouch. the blind was at my home for less than 24 hours before these problems arose. i just ordered a GHG and am sending mine back."

It doesnt get any easier,

"Used it for the first time this season. Took two seconds to set up. My lab of 70 lbs fit's in it nicely. He's like a bull in a china shop turning around in it, but when he's in and laying down he's fine for hours. I had it set up with avery all terrain grass. So took about another 10 seconds to cover it with surrounding natural vegatation. Folds up nice. I actually place it in my lay out blind when its folded up, to free up my hand's to carry in more stuff. My brother has one also. He used something else before, much more happier with this one. No poles and almost no set up. Very pleased so far."

Looks good but too small,
September 18, 2008
By Gm2802

"The Mutt Hut II looks great - in fact it is a good design and well constructed - but it is just too small to work well. My 80lbs lab wouldn't enter the hut because it was too small for him to turn around in. It is compact and easy to carry - I'd like to see them enlarge it to allow for a fair sized dog to turn around in it."

Great Dog Blind,
September 8, 2008
By Waterdog02

"Great Product, Durable. I have a 80lb Chessie and he learned how to get in and out of the blind in about a week. There is a pocket for the stakes so there are no extra bags. The stakes are like any other tent stakes. if the ground is hard, they bend. There are brush straps all over and it is very easy to conceal the blind. The dog loves the blind and it gives him his spot whether we are in a field or on the edge of the marsh."

"It's really is a nice looking dog and a great concept with the sloping back, and has very easy setup. However, you better have a fairly small dog. I tried several times but no way would my 1 year old 80lb lab fit."

"This dog blind is a great hide. It's easy for my 90lb lab to get in and stay in! It's light weight is a plus when we have to walk in. I also use it in one of the pits in my Gator Hide boat, makes the dog invisible."

Bought two...returned two,

"I purchased the Mutt Hutt II and while setting it up at home, noticed a hole in the area one of the flex poles seats...returned it and the second one developed the same hole in the same spot during its first use in the field..they need to reinforce that contact point with a stronger material so the pole doesn't poke through...all else appears to be as advertised...I have a need for this blind and want it to work..."

"I have a 85 pound Black lab, and she curls up just fine in the blind, Keeps the snow and weather out. It is nice because the dogs can mark the birds well, but It broke the third time I went out for geese, Cabelas exchanged it right away. I would recommend this blind."

Mutt Hutt II,
October 16, 2007
By steerink

"Not made for large breed dogs such as Labs. Way too small. Would not recommend purchasing for a dog any bigger than a medium size Springer. We had to return ours due to it was so small our Lab couldn't even fit in it lengthwise and would have no way of sitting in it cuz it was so short."

Too small,
October 9, 2007
By Cutz

"I have a 100 lb lab that does not have a chance fitting into this blind. I realize low profile and small is good in layout hunting but unfortunately this blind is made for a chihauhau. My lab would stick his head and shoulders inside the blind and then try to spin to get into position... Nothing but chaos. And, my lab is not unaccustomed to this style of blind."
