Safely secure your shotgun when hunting in your boat keeping it quickly accessible. This powder-coated aluminum and
steel Gun Holster has an aluminum mounting bracket that you bolt to the side of your boat seat. The steel holster
slides vertically in the mount so you can customize the position of your firearm, and removes from the low-profile
mounting bracket in seconds. The holster portion features vinyl-coated rests for the butt and forestock of your
shotgun, and a stretchable rubber restraining band holds your firearm in place. When your gun is needed, a quick tug
of the restraining band frees your shotgun instantly.

Much better than laying gun in bottom of boat,January 20, 2009

"I bought 2 of these. They do a good job of keeping gun ready in an upright position. I wish the vertical piece was thicker or stiffer and did'nt bend, but really has'nt been a problem yet. They were easy to mount. I replaced the supplied mounting screws with bolts. Having the abilty to remove the rack will be handy when not using the boat for hunting. I would have put the cutout area (for removal) lower near the bottom if I had designed this item. I don't know about you but seems like I could pick apart any piece of equipment I buy. All in all I am happy with this product and will probably get a couple more for my blind."

"These gun holster's are the cat's meow! My wife and I run a Go Devil 16x44 with a center bench/storage seat. We mounted the gun holsters on each side of the bench/storage seat in a location where we can simply reach down and un-strap the guns when we are seated in the pedestal boat seats with the Avery Quick-Set blind in place. I wish I would of found these earlier, they are secure and keep your shotgun oriented in a safe direction while waiting on the ducks to come into the blocks! I highly recommend these gun holsters for those quackheads hunting out of a boat blind!"

"I recently purchased a Cabela's Northern Flight Jon Boat Gun Holster . This product had alot of potential but did not come with any of the assembly hardware and apparently you cant get any if they don't ship it. After comming up with a assembly solution the product performs nicely. So if you order one I hope everything comes in the box. If it does you will like it."

"I mounted three of these in my Lund alaskan. I love them! When we have to chase down a cripple, every gun is secured. The dog doesn't knock guns over. They are especially helpful late season when things get iced up. I also Like how easily you can disconnect the holder from the base and stowe the holder."

"The only downside I found with the gun holder was the limited choice on the height of the mounting block. I have a sub floor in my 15ft jonboat and this eleminated mounting to the seats. I made a wood frame out of 1x3s and mounted them to it. The gun holders appear to be well made and I will buy more if I need some."

"Product looks good and would be a good item but mine started falling apart on first day of use. the pin for the strap fell out within first hour of hunting and it only lasted 3 weeks on my second holder."
