fiberglass, aramid and carbon fiber throughout the stock. Stocks are lighter than conventional wood stocks in both
weight and recoil, and they will withstand hard use, moisture and fast-changing temperatures. Each boasts fine-line
checkering, creating a textured finish. Rifle stocks weigh approximately 32 oz., have 13-1/2" L.O.P. and
select stocks come in right- or left-hand models. Uncle Mike's sling posts included. Medalist Rifle Stocks sport a
computer-designed integral bedding system CNC-machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum running from the
grip to the front sling stud for stability. Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.

"I bought this stock in the tactical version to replace a Remington 700 VTR factory stock. The stock was very easy to install (no modifications needed) and is extremely solid. After mounting I took it to the range to shoot off the bench. The stock rode the bags very easily and recoil seemed to be non existent from the light kicking .308. I shot 30 rounds and the last went straight through the bull. Point of impact changed from the original stock so you should take it to the range before hunting. The stock is heavy and will be used primarily as a deer/hog rifle shot from a stand."

"the forend was a little wider than i would have liked. it required a little fitting for the clip magazine conversion, but not bad took maybe 15 minutes. the pistle grip feels great. but the bolt is tight when you release it needs a releaf cut in the top of the stock and that would finish it out nicely."

"stock fit my rem sps .204 very well no major adjustment. bought one for my weatherby but was not happy as the action block was set almost 1/2 inch low. I would buy another varmit stock for a rem mod 700 but would not for a weatherby."

""extremely disappointed. first thing was not drop in fit. second thing once I screwed stock to receiver/barrel could not work bolt, the blind magazine pinches so bolt wont close, third only one screw hole in stock to secure trigger guard which requires 2. So much for getting what you pay for.
Have to do some work on it as safety wont work and it dry fires if you do get the bolt to close."

"I recently purchased this stock for my 300 Weatherby Mag to finish off the package for my long range shooter. While I was already shooting sub-MOA groups I feel much more comfortable with the guns performance now. The stock feels great with a good weight balance and nice recoil pad. The stock was a complete drop-in install. It fit perfect with no adjustments.
I can't say that it made my shot group any tighter at this point, but it has proven to help me while practicing at 500+ yards. I can definitely say that I am more consistent at longer ranges with the addition of this stock."
