"VERY GOOD COVER TO KEEP THE WEATHER OUT OF YOUR BOAT, MATERIAL IS VERY DURABLE AND INCLUDED STRAPS MAKE VERY NICE FOR HOLDING COVER TO YOUR BOAT. THE BIG PROBLEM IS THE FADING OF THE MATERIAL. WITHIN ONE WEEK OF MY COVER BEING PUT ON IT STARTED TO CHANGE COLORS, WENT FROM GREEN TO ORANGE, AND NOW IS FADING LIGHTER YET. IF YOU NEED THIS COVER FOR CAMOUFLAGE IT IS NOT A GOOD ITEM, HOWEVER IF YOU NEED SOMETHING TO KEEP RAIN WATER OUT OF YOUR BOAT THE IS WHAT YOU WANT. IF THEY COULD FIX THE FADING OF THE MATERIAL THIS WOULD BE AN EASY 5 STAR PRODUCT TO ME."

Nice Cover...But,

"Nice durable cover. I used it last year to help conceal my boat while hunting. But....it has faded badly since being purchased last fall and I won't be using it in the marsh this year. If you want a good camo cover for hunting this is not it unless you are hunting in and orange colored marsh. The extra price to have the camo was a waste. Still works good for trailering and storage but one can buy a less expensive cover for that."

"Fades real fast. Mine is almost an orange color now and I have only had it for three weeks. Fits my boat like a glove and it is very easy to install. They recommend a pvc support for it when you order I wish I had bought it also. It will fill with water unless you get the support."

"The cover was made of great material but on my 72 inch wide boat, it only extended an inch or less over the sides. I returned the product since it should of been at least 4+ inches wider."

"This is a good quality boat cover and fit my 16 foot duck boat very well. The travel tie down straps are too short to reach my trailer and I had to add some length to them and the draw cord on the bow needed a keeper added but these were easy modifications."

"This Stearns product fit my 14' metal boat perfectly. There are sewn in straps that pull the cover tight across the sides to prevent water from holding on the cover when it rains. I chose to use bungee cords on the loops alongside the edge of the cover rather than the ropes that were provided. The sewn in motor cover is a very nice feature too. This is a heavy duty cover, much stronger than your typical boat cover found at most retail stores."

Nice Cover but a bit small for 1470M jon,

"This cover looks very good, fits tight and keeps water out.
One problem is the width is a bit small for a 70 inch wide boat (1448M jon boat), only about an inch over the side of the boat and not enough for a good center pole. I can only raise the center a few inches, enough for rain but not for snow. I would have liked it to be about 4 inches wider.
Also, it should have straps in all positions instead of the rope tie downs. I am using elastic cords for summer and will have to buy straps for winter or any snow will pull the cover off of the edge of the boat. This will have to be tied very tight due to the lack of material over the side. I do wonder how the tie downs will handle the snow load."

"This cover did a great job in covering a 17x52 Jon boat. I put it over the boat and the next day it snowed. then melted, like it often does in the Spring in Montana, it held the water puddles and did not leak through. It performed as expected, it is light weight enough to be handled by one person. A good product for the price. Tom"

"I just returned from a 2 week duck hunting trip to N. Dakota and trailered my boat, with this cover, over 2700 miles.
The cover is water resistant and trailered well. The tie straps are cheap and I will replace them this winter. The straps should have locking clips, instead of having to tie the ropes to themselves.
I do not like the integrated motor cover as water always collects between the rear of the boat and motor.
Overall it is not perfect, but try to find a trailerable cover for a large jon boat without going to a custom maker."

"I park my boat along the sidewalk and I have had several Jon boat owners ask me where I got this because they have been looking for years for a jon boat cover. It is easy to use and looks great. The only thing I don't like is the ropes. I got rid of them and added bunge cords."
