Big Foot Floater Mallards,December 9, 2008
By Anonymousfrom California
"Can't really rate this item very well. Bought them and the first three times I put them in the water three of them filled up with water. One had a hole in the side, the other there was a crack along the keel, and the third I can't seem to find where the water entered; appears to be along the keel again. Anyway, was a little disappointed. Bought set of 6 and half of them leaked. They're nice looking, but not much good if they fill up with water"

"I had one that leaked, which was good odds with my decoy purchases. I have not bought set yet that did not have some leakers. The overall appearance was great though."

Big foot mallards,January 7, 2008
By BJamesfrom Little Rock
"I've hunted a dozen times and they make a nice addition to the spread. I like the pose of the decoys and the paint looks good-- only a few chips due to being knocked around with other decoys and anchors in the bag."

good lookin decoys,January 7, 2008
By Darbysdadfrom North Mead, WA.
"the Bigfoot floater mallards are the best looking decoys I've come across so far. They don't shine and the carvings are very realistic. I also like the weighted keel molded right into the decoy, they upright themselves immediately. I've used many different brands of decoys and this is my favorite so far. I would recommend them to anyone."

look good,December 25, 2007
By gobblinthunderfrom Port Deposit MD. Hunt all the time just ask my X
"Have only used these decoys twice but they do look darn good setting out there on the water. They have a different look about them from one to the other. Nice high backs on them they upright themselves when you throw them. Nice paint. Two things i did not like the string hole is pretty darn close to the edge of the keel. One decoy looks like it might pull thru because of a cut or bad mold job right at the hole and one decoy had a split in the keel and the decoy was full of water 3 hours into the hunt. For that kind of money i do expect alittle better. My big foot geese have held up for years i hope these do too."

Not worth the money,December 19, 2007
By NorthIdahoduckhunterfrom north, Idaho
"I have now hunted over my bigfoot floater mallards for 2/3's of a season. I am very disapointed with the paint and the durability of these decoy's. I have kept them in a slotted decoy bag for the entire season and have two of the drake's that the paint is wore almost completly off the breast. I expected durability out of the bigfoot decoy's(I have hunted over the gesse extensivly) I just didn't get it with these decoy's. I would suggest the avery green head gear or the cabela's real image to these I have both and they seem to be more durable."

Big Foot Mallard Floaters,December 10, 2007
By tball85from IL
"Paint looks great at first, but I've noticed LOTS of chipping after only 3 hunts. Also, 1 of the decoys sank on the first hunt because of a crack in the keel. They looked great in the store, so I had to try them out. However, until they fix the paint and leak problem on these, I'm sticking with my G&H."

Bigfoot Mallard Floaters,November 11, 2007
By Weythmanfrom Eastern WA
"These decoys have great size, paint, and actually look like a duck. However, 1 out of the 6 I bought had a crack in the keel and sank on my first hunt. I patched the keel, and the decoy is fine, but this is something that Bigfoot will want to correct if it's a persistant problem. Other than that, these are the best mallard decoys I've seen - other than high-dollar customs like CRDs."

bigfoot mallard floater decoys,October 30, 2007
By igiveup
"I was very disatisfied with the paint on the bigfoot duck floaters. The first use on a trip to ND resulted in a lot of chipping of the paint. they were bought new before the trip and stored in a slotted decoy bag. Greenhead gear deoys are a lot better value by far."

They sink.,October 24, 2007
By beerbelly
"Put out 6 of these brand new decoys in my spread. They looked great, until two of them filled with water and sank!I have used other big foot decoys with great luck but unless I just received a bad box I think they are going to get a lot of returns!! These sank before we even hunted over them."

Good Paint,October 8, 2007
By CootKillerfrom Highland, IL
"They are quite pricy per the doz. but overall they are worth it. Of course GreenHeadGear dekes look great but don't last for more than half a season. I scratched the paint as hard as I could with my thumbnail and only a little tiny pit wore off of the brown on the breast. I'm getting a couple dozen and I'll let you know how they compare to my buddies tuff G&H's."

Big Foot Floating Mallard Review,September 11, 2007
By GregJW
"I have hunted over a variety of floating mallard decoys, and to put it simply, those "other" decoys look like decoys...these Big Foot floaters look like ducks. So far, I'm pleased. I only will give a four star rating for now...I'd like to see how the paint holds up over a season or two of hard use, which they will see with me."

Bigfoot floating mallards,August 20, 2007
By fire4hunterfrom Bremerton, Washington
"The decoys are a great size, about that of a magnum. The paint is a little light in spots. The paint however seems to be as tough as thier goose floaters and thats pretty good. The line lock is a little big and looks like it will only cinch on those tangle free type lines. The keels look great. Hopefully they will look good on the water too. All in All I was slightly dissapionted with them but not enough to return them. If you're looking for a super good spread try full curl decoys. If you're looking to add a few magnums or a decoy you don't have to baby then these would be a good choice."
