A relaxed flock of ducks makes an amazing amount of water commotion while feeding and socializing. To draw ducks "feet down" at close range, decoy movement is essential, especially when the wind is light and the water is like glass. For decades, serious waterfowlers have used jerk strings to put motion in their decoy spreads. This jerk rig takes an age-old technique to an advanced, super-compact level. Setup is easy: drop the miniature anchor, attach up to four decoys on the snap swivels, and string the 100-ft. cord to your boat or blind. The entire rig is compact enough to fit in a coat pocket or blind bag. Recommended for water depths to 5 ft. Carrying case included.

By Archer4Elkfrom Longview, Washington
"I wanted to get some motion in my decoys, and living in washington, we are not allowed to use battery powered decoys. After using them opening weekend, i am impressed. They worked better than what i was expecting. Great product."

Cheap way to add motion to your spread.,September 10, 2009
By SeanCfrom Detroit, mi
"Cheap way to add motion to your spread. I guess you could buy the components to make one yourself for a little more than you can buy this kit. The anchor that comes with it is worth the purchase alone. It's something that you could use on a gang rig kit or as a canoe anchor."

Great!!!!!,February 5, 2009
By pigdoggerfrom Minnesota
"Seriously if you are not using one of these you are fooling yourself. If you don't already own a mojo or spinning wing do NOT buy one yet. Try this jerk rig out it is going to amaze the heck out of you. From wood ducks on a tiny creek to mallards on a wide open marsh don't be scared to use this. All it took was a few tugs in the snowy conditions i was in and the circling flock of mallards seen the dekes and the next thing they were cupped and committed. also limited out on wood ducks for several days on a creek. keep the water rippling and you would be amazed at how quickly a wood duck can turn on a dime to drop in on the dekes. and i wouldn't worry to much about the cord color either it didnt matter for me. and i think these are exceptional because all ducks see nowadays are spinning wings. buy it use it and you are going to be amazed"

Good Product,February 3, 2009
By S2theKfrom Stuttgart, AR
"Was having trouble getting late season call and decoy shy birds into timber. Set this up next to three slightly hidden mojos... after a greeting call, then one pass, the a quick demanding comeback and VERY LIGHT quacks birds started... dropping in. We got two quick mallard limits and were back at the truck just after sunrise."

Jerk Rig,January 14, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Lufkin, TX
"Great overall product. Sets up quickly and stores in its bag with little problem. Good quality and works pretty good. Easy to use for young or first year hunters. Makes them feel like their part of the game. Only had one problem. Like other writers said, the black line is a big NO-GO in shallow water. Going to set it up with a lighter color line for next season. Would be nice if they offered a different color line. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product."

Rig em,January 8, 2009
By copterjockfrom Houston, TX
"Awesome product. 1 problem, in about knee deep water, the black pull line floats and in brown merky water looks like reflective tape. every duck that even thought about decoying would circle and just keep on flying. Replaced black line with Camo colored line and works great. For that, only 4 stars. Worth every penny."

Great...but not perfect,December 30, 2008
By GBMotofrom Oregon
"I bought this jerk string and was looking forward to using. Its a breeze to pack around in its case, nice and compact due to the collapsible weight. Howecver the weight came off the string the first time I used it. I am also adding a 5 foot stretch of cord to the weight so I can pull it up without reefing on the bungie cord. Over all its a great product and I would recommend it."

Great Item,December 22, 2008
By Casey67from Ohio
"A very nice little item. It really moves the decoys, and it's easy to wind the cord back up and put it the bag with the anchor. Anchor is heavy enough to allow the decoys to be pulled, without moving them."

rigem right jerk cord,December 19, 2008
By redlegsmackerfrom texas
"spend alot of time duckhunting and have always used jerk cords to put motion in the spread. This is the most convenient and effective system i have ever used.
no bulky pole to carry around, it fits into your blind bag without a mess and works very well (as good or better than any other) at moving water like its supposed to.
I am actually buying a second right now."

Rig 'em right...right on!,December 2, 2008
By topgun1from Moberly, MO.
"Great product, durable, handy, versatile, very portable. Works fantastic. Have also used it with two magnum Goose floaters as well. Tied a heavy cord to the anchor with a float attached on the other end to keep the cord at the surface....just in case it gets hung up on the bottom. Wouldn't recommend trying to yank it up or retrieve it with the bungee. My hunting buddy likes it too, he's gonna get one as well."

Works Great,December 1, 2008
By davisdogfrom concord, nh
"In the midst of our second season here in New Hampshire. So far this thing is a godsend. Brings in those wary birds. A couple of tugs on the string with birds approaching, they might circle again but there coming in. Sure you can make one but why? THis thing is cheaper then a box of shells and is very easy to use and well designed. Comes with a nice little carrying pouch too. When Im done writing this im getting another one."

Rig'Em Right Decoy Jerk Rig,November 3, 2008
By CODUKHTRfrom Front Range, Colorado
"Everyone says it, motion to your decoys is super important. And now, not only is it affordable, but it is also super easy. No batteries, no wires, no hassle. You can set this up in less than five minutes. We have used in shallow flooded fields, as well as chest deep ponds. (Just be sure to watch your dog, the cord is strong). I have not seen an easier solution to getting that desired motion in your spread."
