"We do a lot of hunt tests with our labs. This spacious rack lets us put a dog creat on our ATV and still have room for all out gear. Great purchase would recommend it to anyone with a 4 wheeler."

"I had to get creative mounting the rear rack. It simply would not fit my Grizly 400 without modifying the factory flat rack a little bit. I simply removed the bar that stuck up along the back of the original rack with a hacksaw and added 2 u-bolts to secure the front portion of the rear rack. The front rack was a snap to install. I'm satisfied with the sturdiness of both racks and they look nice once they are on right. They are the perfect size and are great for bags of corn, chainsaws, firewood, etc. One peice of advice, make sure you have a cordless drill with a socket adapter, a 10 mm socket, and a 10 mm wrench. If you have these 3 things, you can install unassisted in about 1 hour. Buying this combo is way cheaper than buying a front and rear rack seperately."

"We got these for my dog to ride with me when I went to check on the cows. My husband put one on the back of each of our bikes and put carpet in the bottom so she wouldn't hang a toe. They have been wonderful!!! As a farm family, they of course do dual duty hauling hay and tools as we need. They were also the best buy I could find! Thanks guys!!!"

"The rear basket is very flimsy and I needed to weld on a few braces to make it capable of carriering a load. The mounting bolts and brackets provided with the baskets were worthless. I drilled holes through the heavier support structure of the basket to match the ones on my Grizzly 660 rear rack and used grade 8 bolts to fasten it securely."

"I haul a 100# lab out to my duck blind and I had to install some bracing on the rear basket to hold him up. I ran some 3/4" tubing from the hitch plate to the rear of the basket and it worked great. I have about $10 in parts and an hour of time to make it work."

"rear basket broke 82 miles after installation. 8 lbs of weight was all i had on rack. I think it would have broken with no weight on it. design flaw."

"Excellent addon to one or two of my machines. Perfect for hauling firewood without using a trailer. Too early to tell if the mounting brackets will hold long term, but with Cabela's reputation, I expect they will. Look flimsy to me."

Rear Basket Design Flaw,

""Rear Basket Design Flaw: After doing a custom camo paint job on the racks to match my quad I installed this unit and discovered that the only support for the whole rear portion of the rear basket is the two outer ¾” tubes. This will make the rear basket area bend or break off if any amount of weight is put on the rear rack and you do any bouncing on your quad. I welded in 4 braces on each side (8 total) to support the rear of the basket. I would have retuned the unit but it was already painted and I am going elk hunting in 4 days. If you plan on putting any weight on this basket or you’re not a metal fabricator I would recommend another brand. I really enjoyed watching my custom camo job and the underlying powder coat paint going up in a plasma cloud as I welded in the braces. Also the mounting hardware is a generic mystery, I made my own.""
