"Minus one star since the hinges, construction seem a little bit 'non'-heavy-duty shall we say, to hold 2 rifles/shotguns as capacity description states above. Otherwise quality foam and latches/handle/corner reinforcements. Good value at the price."

"This is the first gun case I have ever bought. It appears to be everything I could want. I love the depth of it and the multiple layers. It has a comfortable handle and all in all has to be worth the money compared to a lot of searching I did. If you want a steel plated super strong gun safe type case then go ahead and spend $200. If you want a resonable and nice carry case then buy this one."

"I purchased the double rifle case and on the first trip i used it the combo locks wouldnt open. I had to use a screwdriver to pop the locks to get my guns out. But for the price if you are just looking for a hard case you cant beat it."

"This case is capable but not great. I would not recommend transporting an expensive or valuable firearm on an airplane. Mine has survived 2 flights so far with only a couple of small dents although one of the combination locks seized up after its first flight. Luckily its so cheap a swiss army bottle opener can pop the lock in about 10 seconds. I have cut off the locks and bolted on a couple of hasps with padlocks for the next trip."

"I guess I expected a bit better quality after my many other purchases from Cabela's. The case is rather on the cheaply made side, and NOT made for airline travel. The combination latches are not a perfect match - and opening them is sometimes frustrating. This case is ok for transporting your pistols to the gun range, but not very durable. I think the theme of this case is - You get what you pay for"."

"You are getting what you pay for here. I would not travel on an airline with this case. Not only will your scope get way out of wack, but one good blow to the side and I would be afraid something would go through it. Not good quality or construction. Very flimsy and cheap."
