"I've tried several different fluorocarbons and couldn't find one that I really liked until this one. There are probably others that have had a little better sensitivity, even though the sensitivity is very good on the Stren, but none have casted and handled as good as this line. The abrasion resistance seems to be on par with other lines as does the knot strength but the way this line casts sets it apart from the other fluoros."

"I have been using Stren fishing line for over 40 years and find it to be superior in abrasion resistance, knot strength and overall strength to other lines I have tried. I have landed 20 pound plus stripers using ten pound test Stren line which surely attests to the lines capability. I prefer clear blue flourescent for most applications but utilize both the clear and green tint when conditions warrant a more stealthy approach."
