chippewa logger,March 3, 2009
By wogsouthfrom Maine -- Master Maine guide, retired educator
"After having worn so-called logger boots for years while harvesting wood, I'd come to the conclusion they were an evil neccessity -- especially the steel-toed versions. Many years ago I'd been spoiled by the now-defunct Bass hunting boots, with double underfoot and moccasin lace-to-toe. Here, finally, in the Chippewa lace-to-toe logger line, I found comfort, support, and value in a work boot which I shall also wear as a hunting boot. Right out of the box, they felt great."

One heck of a tough boot!,August 4, 2008
By buck110
"This boot is built for real loggers, I have been through many cold winters in steel toes that freeze your feet off. last winter I was warm and dry in Chippewa super loggers. and I felt safe cutting wood with these boots. Logger heals take some use to getting use to but in a week they are good."

Logger Boot,July 3, 2008
By TrailsCrewfrom Iowa
"The boots are a little over priced but they are worth the money if you are looking for a waterproof boot that is able to with stand the harshest thing that you can trow at them. I work in correspondence with the Iowa DNR on a trails crew and this boot has been the only one too last me one year. The only draw back about the boots is that the leather need to be treated regularly."

Excellent boot,January 22, 2008
By hillkordfrom Giles,VA
"This is an excellent pair of boots very comforatable and warm but a little over priced. I like the looks and feel of the boot except there is one drawback the light colored ring around the edges will break after about 3 months of usage. No big deal but it will eventually wear the seams out. I have had four pairs of these boots and will keep on buying them just because i like them but i am giving them four stars because i think that they are a little bit over priced, if i would suggest the retail on these i would say more like 150 but its a great boot and i will still buy them."
