"I now own two pairs of these boots (one in each color). Bought them at a Cabela's store. Stylish boots. Completely lined in shearling. One of the best features of these boots is the REMOVABLE shearling insoles. You can wear the insoles down but replace them with new ones later, same boots! I am a size 8.5 wide (sometimes wear an 8.5 medium), and I bought the size 8. I think the shearling will stretch to some degree, and I don't want them too loose."

Very Comfy, They Run Big Though!,March 17, 2009

"These boots are SUPER comfortable, although, they do run a size big. In shoes I normally wear a size 10 and I wear a 9.5 in heels. I got a 9 in these boots and they fit perfectly. Also, they can be a bit loose around the ankles (mind you, I also have narrow feet, but several others said the same thing), but I just wear one pair of crew socks and then a pair of ankle socks over them and then the boots fit perfectly. Doing this really isn't an incovenience and the boots are worth it. They keep my feet very warm, but my feet don't sweat. I've had 4 surgeries on my right foot (with 6 incisions) and I think these boots are very comfortable-- clearly I have a hard time finding good shoes and I think the world of these. I've had them for about 2 months now. When I first got them, one of them made a weird popping kind of sound every once in a while when I'd step the first few times a wore them, but I think it was just the material getting broken in because they don't do it anymore."

"I needed to replace another brand of sheepskin boots and thought I would try these given the description and price. They were true to size for me, a little wider ithan a medium which I appreciated. The quality is excellent and a much, much better deal compared to other brands. As with my old boots, I plan to use these for cold weather and dog walking."

"I first tried a different product, and had to return them. These I found to be much more comfortable. I was looking for something I could slip on easily to run the dog out. They have a good solid sole, so I won't slip. I have found these to be warm, good for hockey games, and they look good too. I have decided I have a high arch, and that's why I had problems with the others fitting properly. I ended up rounding up a half size, which means they are very roomy if I want to wear heavy socks too."

"The boots are nice and close to the foot, good length of wool, sturdy sole. My one complaint is that the seams behind the heal guard are uncomfortable and cause frictions. I expect they will soften up over time. Apart from that I love the boot. Good price too."

"I recently purchased these boots for the cold VT winter. They run a bit big, but oh so warm & comfy. However they are so utilitarian looking that when they stick out from the end of my pant legs, they almost look like Frankenstein boots! Unlike the picture, the front of the boots are squared not rounded [like that other foreign boot maker]. They are wonderful in all other respects like the cushy & warm shearling wool which conforms to your feet & the excellent tred which has already saved me from several slips on the icy paths. And if they redesign them, I'll order them in other colors too!"

"I really like these boots, but I would change a few details about them. First, I wish they came in half sizes. Second, I wish the shearling went all the way down to the heel becuase I've noticed it rubbing my heel if I don't have thick socks on. They do keep my feet toasty warm during upstate NY's winters. If they came in half sizes I would probably get another pair."

"I waited until the last half of winter to get good boots this year.This has been the best buy I've made for boots. I can wear them inside and my feet don't get hot. I've worn them at -24 deg. and stayed quite warm. They are water proof,although we haven't had much snow melt yet. They are easy to drive in also."
