"Belt is very stiff, reminds of the cow collars I used to buy on the farm. Leather is very durable, and shows no signs of wear after two years, but the rivets that hold the buckle in only go through one layer of leather, not both of them. As a result, they both pulled out after two years of daily use.
If it wasn't for the rivets, this belt would probably last a lifetime!
Also, being so stiff, the top edge digs into your side noticeably when bending over."

"If you're looking for a belt to simply hold up your britches, this one probably isn't for you. But, if you need a belt to hold up a pistol, it is great! Very stiff and plenty of support. And a size bigger than your waist size is perfect."

"Excellent belt. Very sturdy. Fits the belt loops of my Levis and Dockers and all my other jeans. Carries my 20 ounce Walther PPS pistol without any sag whatsoever. Makes my holster ride at the position that it was designed to ride. They make all my pants fit better. No longer do I need to tighten my belt so tight that it becomes uncomfortable to keep gun from sagging. Typical Cabelas quality and value. These are GREAT belts."

"This belt is a good sturdy belt however. If you carry a cell phone on the belt. You have to keep making sure that it hasn't fallen off because the belt is too thick, and the cell phone clip in the pouch doesn't stay on the belt."

"I purchased an identical belt from Cabelas almost ten years. I got excellent service and wanted an identical item. Your new item is made in China, but more importantly not anywhere near the quality. I ordered belts from both Don Hume and Bianchi. They cost me more, but it was worth it. I'll use your belts for around the house, but like the better quality to wear to work and socially."

"This was my first gun belt and is exactly what I expected. Not the greatest gun belt ever but I think the best one for the price. It is sturdy enough to support my XD40 & I think would make a good first gun belt for anyone. Can be a bit stiff and difficult to buckle but what do you expect from a double thick belt? No issues other than that. I liked the black one so much that I ordered a brown one too."

"This belt is very stiff and doesn't sag with a gun or other heavy equipment. It was sized correctly for me and looks good. I was looking for something to carry gear and it doesn't seem too stiff for general use, although it is pretty thick. It fits (1 1/2") into all of the belt loops that I have tried. Initially, I am pleased with this belt."
