"This belt is a good sturdy belt however. If you carry a cell phone on the belt. You have to keep making sure that it hasn't fallen off because the belt is too thick, and the cell phone clip in the pouch doesn't stay on the belt."

"I'm very impressed with this belt. The leather thickness and stitching will not be found on belts of lesser quality. Even though it's quite thick, it is very pliable and comfortable."

"I purchased an identical belt from Cabelas almost ten years. I got excellent service and wanted an identical item. Your new item is made in China, but more importantly not anywhere near the quality. I ordered belts from both Don Hume and Bianchi. They cost me more, but it was worth it. I'll use your belts for around the house, but like the better quality to wear to work and socially."

"Well made, sturdy, very attractive, great price (caught it on sale). One thing I didn't consider, though, was that it's too thick to accomodate my pager clip...so I can only wear it on the days when I don't need my pager."

"This was my first gun belt and is exactly what I expected. Not the greatest gun belt ever but I think the best one for the price. It is sturdy enough to support my XD40 & I think would make a good first gun belt for anyone. Can be a bit stiff and difficult to buckle but what do you expect from a double thick belt? No issues other than that. I liked the black one so much that I ordered a brown one too."

"This belt is very stiff and doesn't sag with a gun or other heavy equipment. It was sized correctly for me and looks good. I was looking for something to carry gear and it doesn't seem too stiff for general use, although it is pretty thick. It fits (1 1/2") into all of the belt loops that I have tried. Initially, I am pleased with this belt."

"I shop Cabela's often because of the fine products and their durability. This belt was purchased a very short time ago and it is already wearing heavily on the top portion of the belt. I even thought about sending it back but this IS the top of the line belt of this type. I use it as a duty belt. It carry's a Colt 45.acp, cuffs, etc, etc. I think the wear is caused by its size, i.e., most belts should be one size large than the wearer's pant size. I believe this belt, should be ordered in the SAME size at the pants size. Because of the early wearing I feel it only earns 2 stars, Fair."

"The belt is very thick. This should be info in your description. It's very stikk, and difficult to get through the buckle provided. I have tried some of my Westen buckles, and the same problem. The prong on the buckle cannot fit all the way through the holes provied because the thickness."
