"Just used my food sealer for the first time on corn. Only thing wrong is the foam sealers around the vacuum part seems to streach out and stick together when you do moist corn. The lid after a while did not want to seal good so I had to push down on the lid before it would suction out the air. For sealing after a while it gets to a point where it needs to set a while before it will seal again. Other wise is a good machine."

"I bought the GameSaver after reading a lot of reviews about the various FoodSavers. The GameSaver consistently had more favorable reviews about the operation and the longevity of the pump, seals, etc.. While this is still new, it operates flawlessly and I have no complaints. It feels substantial and looks to be well made. This will see a lot of use over the next few months so we'll see how it holds up."

"I originally owned a cheaper version of a foodsaver and it basically did not work well. I paid a little more than I wanted to for this product, but after using the gamesaver deluxe it was well worth it. The one touch vacuum and seal work great, and fast. I have not tried to seal fish yet so I can't comment on that. But everything else I have tried has held it's airtight seal, even soup. Take my advice, spend the extra money and buy this over the cheaper brand versions, it will save you time and money in the long run."

"We had a previous Foodsaver Vac that lost it's suction power after many years of use. After a thorogh review search found that this unit was the most recommended by hunters and now I know why. Just used it for the first time and was extremely satisfied. I loved my old Foodsaver Vac, but I loved this one even more, much easier to use. The size is a bit larger but I can store the bags inside it when not in use and couldn't do that with the old one. So I highly recommended this Foodsaver Vac model to anyone that uses these machines."

"So far I've put the meat from a 115 lb doe and about a dozen pheasant into foodsaver vacuum sealed bags using my Gamesaver. It's really easy to use and prevents the chance for freezer burn when the game is frozen. I also use it to seal packs of sausage or ground meat when I'm cooking for just myself instead of the whole family. This keeps the unused portions fresher longer so that the meat is still good when it's time to eat it. Can't wait for fluke season so I can test it out on fish."
