"This sealer is very useful, easy to use, and takes very little room to store. By using canning jars, the cost of storing dry items is greatly reduced over the cost of bags, and canning jars are bug and mouse proof. I recommend this to anyone looking to store dried garden produce or anything else that needs stored in an airtight container."

"We vac. sealed a lot of dry goods last fall (rice, beans, sugar, etc.) but ran out of bags. We used the wide mouth attachment to finish the job in 1 & 2 qt. jars. We recently found we had a small rodent problem. Some of the bags were chewed into. However the food packed in the Mason jars were of course untouched and still sealed tightly. This little tool saved a lot of expense. It's the way we'll go for dry packing in the future. Bags have been great for freezer foods."

"This sealer makes the task of sealing jars extremely simple and fast. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to seal jars that do not need to go through the pressure canning method.
I use it for sealing chokecherry syrup jars destined for both temperary and long term storage.
