"This swimming mullet in Gulp!Alive! is so effective when used on fluke ( summer flounder ), that people who are not familiar with it but see it used often say " Wow! Hey, is this stuff legal ? On a bad day, this catches fish on par with live bait, but more often than not it easily outfishes the latter. When teamed with a jig ( try the 3/4 oz. spro in white or chartreuse , with a matching or contrasting swimming mullet in the same colour) and bounced off the bottom, the combination is nothing less than deadly. This has to rate as one of the best inventions for fishing since the lazer-sharpened hook. It is nothing short of fantastic."

"I use this bait in a combination with a live killie(minnow) or peanut bunker and have found it to be the most effective way to catch summer flounder and weakfish."

"ive been using the gulps for the past year now. ever since i made the switch to artificial i wont go anywhere without these swimming mullets in pearl white or the new penny 3" shrimp. if you fish the lower laguna madre during the late summer and fall months the swimming mullet wont go wrong. ive landed some great specks on them using a 1/8 jig head."
