"I didn't think that Under Armour could improve on perfection...but it's here...and it keeps you warm and dry in any situation. From the Duck Blind to the Tundra hauling out Moose or Caribou...this should be your first layer of defense against the cold. We all know that the fun is over when you get cold. This top and bottom pair are sure to get you more hours in the field in even the most frigid conditions. Thanks Cabela's for helping to keep us in the field all the way till the last shooting hour!!"

"moving from CA to idaho was a real eye opener and didnt realize how cold it can get... even in the mid-day out on a scout or hunting trip, the sun really dosent help lol....so i bought into the hype and got a shirt. going a set-up from the cold gear to this new metal..wow, i'm so glad i did...it works great as a base layer with no need to go real heavy for outer layers(no parkas here)..a heavy sweatshirt and long sleeve shirt work great with this new metal gear, even in temps in the upper 20's and lower 30's....i'd suggest this to anyone, yes its a bit pricey but when your cold because you wanted to save a few bucks, remember i told you so....."

"I bought this for cold weather hunting, as I've used UA's heat gear products while working out for a while now. The thick material really does provide excellent insulating qualities without any appreciable bulk. It is a great baselayer to have on when you find yourself sitting in the cold for long periods then exerting yourself suddenly (like freezing your butt off waiting for a deer, then dragging the sucker out of the woods). You'll stay dry and warm no matter what the situation.
One of the best aspects of the material is its super-slick facing, which allows other layers to move freely over top of it. I've never once been restricted in movement while wearing this shirt.
The fit is a skin-tight compression, which works very well for supporting muscles and keeping blood flowing to all major areas, further keeping you warm. If you're chubby, you're going to realize it when wearing any of this compression stuff, so I'd order a size larger. If you're in decent shape, order your correct size; it's going to be super-tight, but you'll get used to it and even come to love it! I very highly recommend this!"

"I live in Alaska where temps range from 80 to -40. The under Armour Metal gear is the only way to go. There are not many outdoor days that pass where Im not wearing my base layer and for that matter you wont need much more if you dont want. Take an extra T shirt if its hot. Pack a T shirt and a sweater for under your winter gear if its cold. Done. Dont feel bad if you have to order a size or 2 big, the Metal gear is not for a fashion show. When your life depends on it.....Cotton Kills!!"

"Great product, wicks well and is a warm first layer. Being compression fit it is VERY tight so I would recommend ordering at least one size larger for comfort. I usually wear large but this is the first extra large item I have owned and it is still quite tight."

"I had used the regular Under Armour Mock Ts and was quite impressed with them. Then I read the description of the Metal Mock T. I was intrigued by the underarm gussets and wondered if they would really help during intense activity. One day I was hunting on a ridge with a steep slope on one side covered with laurels. On the other side was a gently slope covered with hardwoods. As luck would have it; when I shot a nice buck, he headed down the deep slope into the laurel bed. I managed to track, field dress, and drag him back up the slope by myself. The underarm gussets worked. I could raise my arms and feel the cool air. But what impressed me the most was the moister wicking. When I got back home and pulled off the mock T, the inside was dry while the outside was slightly damp. I checked the next layer and it felt damper than the mock T. You’ll pay a premium for these Ts, but they are well worth the price."
