"I hunt hard in severasl different states and I put binos thru extreme testing. These binos are pretty durable except for the the screw in eye cups. They are too fragile for hard hunting. I have broken them 2 times in 5 years. Glass is exceptional especially at low light."

"I've used these binoculars for five years now and depend on them for all of my glassing needs. They produce a superior picture to any similar spec'd models on the market. I personally own 7 other pairs from 5 different manufacturers - several German based companies. Zeiss beats them hands down in clarity, brightness, and ruggedness. I even prefer to use them star gazing over more appropriately sized models from competing German manufacturers. These are worth the price and are an investment worth passing on to the next great hunter.."

"I bought these last week on a trip to Yellowstone. They are the absolute best binoculars I have ever used- so easy to focus & have incredible clarity. They are great at dusk or low light as they gather so much light. I like the feel of them as they are easy to grip & have great styling. Well worth the price."

"Simply the best currently avaliable. Brightest and best resolution of any binocular.

Have compared these in the field for two years to the best offerings and they best them every time.

Unique prism design that is more efficient and flouride lenses along with zeiss T antireflective coatings creates one great binocular. Also the coatings on the external lenses to repel dirt and oil and water droplets work great-super easy to clean the lenses.

If you are looking th own the best bino on the market this is it!!"

"I bought the Zeiss Victory 10x32 FL T* binoculars for my wife to use for bird watching. The clarity, brightness and wide field-of-view are stunning. The thing I notice most compared to other binoculars is that the clarity extends right to the edge of the field of view, whereas many other binoculars lose clarity or get some distortion as you get to the edge. I also like having waterproof binoculars like these for peace of mind when it starts raining, as it often does here in the Pacific Northwest. My wife is very happy and loves her new binoculars! I never thought I would spend this much for a pair of binoculars, but my wife's happiness is priceless and I even get to use these binoculars from time to time when I really want to see detail on a bird that I can't see with my older 8x40 binoculars."

"This review is for a pair of Zeiss Victory FL T (8x42) binoculars, which I purchased for my wife earlier this year. We had waited for over a year to purchase these due to the very high price, but finally decided the time was right to buy them. My wife is an avid birder (bird watcher) and she had used a pair of the Cabelas binoculars for many years. The light gathering ability of the Zeiss binoculars is simply amazing. They work extremely well in low and normal light and have a great feel in the hands after a full day of use (not to heavy/not too light). They came with rubber lens covers and a nice carrying case. The field of view is also very impressive for an 8-power set of binoculars. We were thinking about buying the 7-power (older version), but are really happy that we went with the higher magnification. Definitely an expensive set of binoculars, but they will bring years of viewing enjoyment, so I feel the money was well spent."

"This is simply the best field binocular I have ever used. It's combination of over-the-top great optics, light and extremely durable housing as well as very usable size make this the very top of the line binocular. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely! I've had other good to great quality binoculars, I should have just bought these in the first place to have saved a lot of money and been in the field with the best all along."

"I replaced a pair of Zeiss Classic that I have worked to death with these binos. I hunt ducks and geese 4 -5 times a week during the season in Utah and have found the glasses to get extremely fogged up in the cold and moist weather and the eye pieces are extremely fragile. I dropped the binos on the pit floor in the case with the eye pieces screwed all the way in the and the screw stripped. i am in the process of sending the bino's back to Zeiss and we will see what they do.Not very happy after spending what you have to spend for them."

Best Binoculars on the Market Today!, October 19, 2007

"I just bought a pair of these a couple of weeks ago. They are awesome! They are extremely bright and clear with VERY sharp images. They are pretty light in weight as well.
I spent a long time shopping and looking around for the best pair of binoculars. My father has a pair of Swarovski SLC's and they are nice, but I felt the images were sharper and clearer through the Zeiss Victory FL's. Are they better than the EL's? I think so, but that is more a matter of opinion. Optically they are more or less equals, but ergonomically they are different. I would recommend going to Cabela's and handling them both yourself. Get the best you can afford. You won't regret it, and they hold their value extremely well.
Bottom line...In my humble opinion, these are the best binoculars out there! I am 100% satisfied and extremely happy I bought them. You never know what you've been missing until you hunt with a pair of them. Pick up some today!"

"My 8X42 FLTs arrived today and the first thing I said when I finally had the chance to look through them was "Oh, wow!". The clarity is breath-taking. I have been using a pair of $600 Pentax's for several years and while I think they are a very good binocular, they are apples and oranges to the FLTs. To my eyes, I believe that they are possibly even better than Swarovski SLCs and Leica BNs, but that is just my opinion. What is a fact is they are lighter and although it's not by a large amount, the FLTs feel significantly lighter than the SLCs and BNs. I spend 4 months of the year passionately pursuing whitetails with bows, shotguns and muzzleloaders and I would never even dream of leaving the truck without my binoculars. Now I can't wait until Ocotber 1st to take my new Ziess FLTs afield."
