"these boots are excellent when i am hunting from a tree stand , i spend about 6 1/2 hours per day in the stand and i like to be a little comfortable, i know it is hard to stay warm on a cold day,especially when the wind is gusting,but as long as my feet are warm then i consider myself to be comfortable,i am very pleased with the 1400pac boots , already my hunting companion is considering getting a pair of these boots for himself. thank you"

"I thought these boots were going to be the cats meow until I took them ice fishing. The very first time I used them they leaked by the zipper when augering my holes. Fishing with wet feet the rest of the day was not fun. They are pretty comfortable until you zip them up. The zipper is hard to pull up at times towards the top. I have learned that there is no substitute for Gore Tex."

"This has got to be the best hunting boot I've ever put my feet in. I hunt exclusively from treestands and have never been able to sit comfortably in temperatures below about 30. This boot and 1 pair of boot socks kept my feet warm with the temp in the upper teens. Light weight, waterproof, and not near as combersome as any other pac boot. They will actually fit in the footstraps on a climber without the need to adjust the strap all the way out and your feet don't get soaking wet with sweat walking to and from the stand. I hope Cabelas doesnt stop making this boot any time soon."

"I would highly recommend Cabela's Still Hunter 1400 Pac Boots for anyone who have the problem I had, KEEPING MY FEET WARM!!! I ordered these due to the weight and hopefully warmth, well they are both, light weight and extremely warm!!! I carried them a few weeks ago with me to Kentucky and bow hunted during 9 degree weather along with the STRONG wind, they were great! I have found my winter boot at last!!!"

"Exactly as imagined ! Cabella quality ....A plus !!!!!!!! I wear size 11 sneaks. I purchased size 12 wide. I wear 2 pairs of socks in the winter on stand. These boots fit me perfectly. If you dont like a little loose fit these are not for you. Because they are a slip on they fit a little loose. I personally like that because you can wiggle your toes around to keep them warm. Also my bibs fit inside and , or bunch up on the top of the boot , as I wanted this so I can cross small streams. Perfect boot for me and my type of hunting. I walk to my area with my climbing stand ( feet fit in sturrups just fine , hard with huge pac boots )then up tree for the SIT ! Toasty Toasty Toasty ! Thanks cabelas and PLEASE NEVER CHANGE THIS BOOT !!!!!!!"

"I bought these boots last spring and first used them this November (08) while hunting in my home Province of Alberta. Our temperatures are routinely very cold during this month, as much as -30 C, my feet never became cold at any time. I have been using them clearing snow since our hunting season ended. So far this winter I have used them when it has been close to -40 C and the wind chill has been even colder, my feet were never cold, in fact they were damp when I finally took the boots off. They did require a little stretching in but at no time did they cause me any discomfort. I bought them one size larger than my street shoes so that I could tuck my pants into them and also to leave me some wriggle room with a heavy pair of socks. After using them this winter I would not contemplate buying any other winter pac boot. They not only met my expectations they exceeded them to the point that my wife who has frostbitten toes, will be buying herself a pair after having tried mine. Normally when a pair of boots states a cold rating I find my feet get cold well before that temperature is reached, thus far I have not had a problem and do not expect to have one."
