The most advanced behind-the-ear unit available will take outdoor enthusiasts' hearing and protection to entirely new levels. The Digital Directional uses two omnidirectional microphones located in the front and rear of the unit. Both microphones can be programmed by the user with the audible signal indicator switch for different settings, giving the user multiple hearing options. It can be set to use the front or rear microphone independently or both front and rear mics together. Each setting has its own unique feature that gives the user the ability to pinpoint sound, even in noisy environments. An internal induction coil gives the user wireless communication capabilities that make it suitable for use with cell phones or two-way radios. This technology utilizes a fully digital Wide Dynamic Range Compression amplifier, which amplifies soft sounds but does not amplify loud sounds like a muzzleblast.
