"Let me start by saying that my hearing is not what it should be.I tried these to help me hear sounds at a distance while hunting.I could not believe the things I was missing.Now I can hear subtle sounds at 100 yards.Squirrels scampering,deer feeding,birds chirping just to name a few. I tried them at an indoor shooting range and the sound level was a little high for me even at reduced volume levels,but good when turned off.I am not sure if these are range muffs but I didn't buy them for that purpose.Overall very satisfied with performance and would recommend to anyone needing amplification in the woods."

"Low price but constant static even in quiet areas. Might become annoying after a day of hunting. Head phones keep your ears worm but some caps or hoods might not stay on your head. Less likley to get pulled off by a branch when going through woods."

"The muffs electronically work great. Good quality sound and reasonable battery life. However, the muffs fit rather tight. When I flexed the headband to see if I could loosen the fit it simply snapped and broke. The headband is plastic with no wire or metal support. In my opinion the headband should be reinforced so it wont break if flexed."

"I like this hearing protector because of its camo and chopped cups; however, I’ve owned 6 pairs and returned 6 pairs due to microphone problems such as loud squelch, buzzing noise, or permanent mute. I stuck with the model thinking maybe it was a bad production run but the last two purchases never made it out of the parking lot because they were DOA new in the box. Not a good value considering the price.."

"These muffs are Great!!! Sitting still or walking through the woods I can hear almost everything. You can hear leaves shuffling at great distances and whispers as well. I haven't had the opportunity to check the cutoff for sharp, loud noises like gunshots at the range but so far they are exactly what I expected and what I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to hear more of what's going on in the woods around them."

"I have had this set for one year. First Hunt, worked fine until the 4th day, ringing noise and static. Started in right ear then to left, works great for warming the ears, and works great for hearing protection, not sound enhancement. Sent back, got new pair. I have used on the range with good success, however, go on a hunt, good luck. Second season, same problem as first. When the work there great, but 4 days out of 10 do not meet the standards. Called company, cost to repair, $35. I will use them for the range, but not hunting, not reliable. Observations: Moisture and Cold, and Sweating cuase the problems."

"I just returned from 4 days of duck hunting in the Mississippi Delta. These muff's are great. I was able to wear them over hearing aids without expected feedback. I could hear working Mallards "talking" and then fire a shotgun and the report be muffled. I came back to this site to order a set for my host at the duck camp."

"I bought them a week ago, and used them while launching bumpers for my dog. I then went to shoot sporting clays, and they worked fine until station 7, when there was a chronic high pitched static coming from the right muff. Nothing I did would stop the static, except turning them off. I will be returning them ASAP."
