"My 80 lb Black lab and I played tug with this toy for about 3 minutes before it snapped in the middle. The play was supervised, there was NO twisting involved, and my dog is not especially powerful. I immediately returned it for a refund. I don't recommend this toy unless your dog is 20 years old, feeble, and has no teeth."

"We bought the Kong Tug Toy for our lab/shepherd mix and he destroyed it. I was very disappointed that this toy did not live up to the standards of Kong products. This toy must be used under supervision or else it will get destroyed."

"Our dog had this chewed apart before I realized what he was doing. Our other dog had no interest in it at all, and she is the one that really enjoys playing tug. I recommend other Kong products we have, just not this one."

"My husband and our black lab, Bailey were playing on Christmas when the center literally broke in two. Being a Kong Toy I was surprised, because they are suppose to be so strong, but this is made with a thin rubber and lightweight weave plastic."

"Our boston terrier loves to take toys from you and not give them back, and he loves for you to tug on it. So when I saw this at Cabelas I was very excited to buy something that was both owner and dog friendly. It has allowed us to play with him without gettin drooled on or nipped when he gets hyper. It very comfortable to hold and has a strong grip. Your arm does hurt however, depending on the strength of your dog of course. Highly recommended to any owner who has the patience and a dog who loves to tug."
