Best boots ever, Handsdown,

"Received these in exchange for the zip up pinnacles. I have small ankles so I needed lace up. These are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Completely waterproof and sneaker like. These will be perfect for treestand hunting in the manner that it feels like your wearing nothing really. Good job Cabelas. Tread could be a little more aggressive."

Great Buy,

"Ive had these for 4 weeks now, they're a great pair of boots and i would highly recommend them to anyone else. I've sunk them in 8 inches of water working my deer plot and they've stayed perfectly dry inside and maintained great traction. They are very comfortable to work in and offer alot of ankle support. Exactly what i wanted when i bought them and i will be buying them again when i wear them out."

Great all-season boot,

"This is a great lightweight boot. It is noticably lighter than many other boots with similar qualities. I like the 400 g Thinsulate because it's not too much in the warm weather but still keeps you warm in the colder weather. I just purchased my 5th pair of Pinnacles so I obviously like this boot. The only complaint that I have is that the Goretex lining seems to leak after about a year on every pair that I have had while the rest of the boot has alot more life left in it. I do use these boots hard so I have never returned a pair. If it weren't for the Goretex wearing out, I would definately be giving this boot 5 stars."

Comfortable boot but sole disintegrated,

"No break-in required and boot was comfortable. However used two seasons for deer hunting (Utah & Manitoba) - 5 days ea season & sole disintegrated. I noticed black on floor of truck, didn't think much about it - but went into lodge & saw black on carpet. Checked my boots & realized the rubber was sloughing off. Had to vacuum carpets!! The boots could not be worn inside. The boots at this time are not wearable - completely broken down. A few years ago I thought perhaps I could wear the boots out but at age 76 it just ain't so!!"

Poor Boot,

"I bought these in August of 2008. After a full season of dove and pheasant hunting, the front toe guard started to peal (started during the middle of pheasant hunting). By the end of the season, water was leaking into one of the boots near the little toe. They were conditioned every couple of hunts, and still started to fall apart. The only good thing about them is that they are very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend these boots though."

"I bought a pair of these boot to go to colorado elk hunting the boots are very comfortable and warm but on the second day of hunting we got eigth inches of wet heavy snow after walking in this for 3 hours my feet were soaked"

"Bought these boots in anticipation of Gams hunting in the Mountains of Southern Germany. They were fantastic -- total package deal -- no break in time required, they stayed dry throughout the day, were very stable and secure on narrow mountain trails and in some cases no trails and with an average pair of socks my feet were in great shape -- Have used these boots for a couple of months on a variety of hunts in Germany and am completely satisfied with the product. Well done Cabela's."

"The boots are crafted very well and very comfortable. No break-in time was needed! I found the boots to provide enough warmth on cold hunting days and great traction. I have not tested the waterproof claim, but by all indications, it should hold up well."

Buy several pair,

"Bought my first pair of these in '07 and went out pheasant hunting for 2 days. When I got home I noticed the stitching at the toe bend was coming undone. Contacted Cabelas and they sent me out a second pair without question. Didn't get a chance to use the new second pair until '08. Wore them on 3 consecutive hunting days without problem. On the fourth day while lacing them up, one of the metal speed lace pieces broke. Again contacted Cabelas and they sent me out a refund. I really liked the feel of these boots, just which I would have been able to wear out a pair. Probably try a Danner next time."
