great cast net,September 9, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Long Island New York
"This is the second time I purchased this net, that should say it all. I was out late one night and the water around the boat started boiling with nervous bait. I figured what better time to throw the net. I ended up with two 17+ pound bluefish and they turned my first net into swiss cheese. For all you fresh water die hards, if bluefish got as big as bluefin there would be nothing left in the ocean!! This net is so great I needed another. Sinks fast, long hand line, hand line floats, and the net is strong(almost 40 pounds of fish no problem). This net is the best bang for the buck, in my opinion."

I think my net was refurbished,August 4, 2009
By DC671from Guam
"The net is made with very good mono and is heavy as a rock. Without a doubt I am sure this will sink faster than many nets out there. Unfortunately I will not be able to test this due to the bad product I received. There were many patched holes on this net and the patch job was done extremely poorly. I found many holes big enough for 2 fingers to fit through. Also the horn was nothing but a big blue plastic ring. No dividers or swivel stop in place. When I opened the product up for the first time and pulled the net out the swivel was tangled inside the net. It was not the same horn as displayed (White horn in picture). I have heard great things about AHI products but the one I received was just fail.
I do not blame Cabelas for they have no control of a products condition as it is wrapped and sealed in a bucket. I commend the Cabelas Customer support for their superb help and will continue shopping here and will tell my friends about this site. I give Cabelas 5 stars!!!"

Ahi 600 Pro Series Cast net,October 17, 2008
By fishfordinnerfrom Bergen County, NJ
"When I opened this 8 FT net from its packaging it felt very stiff. Stiff as though someone had put starch in it to keep it that way. I cast it in the back yard and it opened like an umbrella; better than a lot more expensive nets. I couldn't believe it, so I cast it again. It opened like a charm. Third cast was the same. The only explanation I have is that the lead weights are round and well positioned and properly distributed on the bottom of the net. If you have difficulty throwing cast nets this one sure will make your life easier. I own three other brands and all more expensive. None open up as well or as wide. Net Mono line is slighty heavier than others. the hand line is a heavy nylon braid pro quality. This one was so good I ordered two more. I usually cast the net for Bunker bait in the New Jersey area."

Great quality,March 10, 2008
By Roemanfrom Staunton, VA
"Very nice quality net; one tip that's very helpful to get a good spread is to let the net soak in water for about 10 minutes before casting; It's pretty "factory stiff" out of the bucket, as you'd expect; Once soaked, it gives up a beautiful spread...
I'll buy another exactly the same here shortly..."
