"As stated in previous posts, this rest has major flaws. The bristle parts wear out quickly. The vanes catch during release and cause the arrow to fly erratically, as well as marring and tearing the vanes. This also can mangle the bristle parts making them bend forward. What a horrible product."

"This rest came on my 09 Cheetah pkg and it worked ok for about a day. Then the plastic broke after about 50 arrows. The package did come with a spare and it was easy to change but, if its something that I"m going to have to change after every 50-100 shots. I cannot recommend it. They know its a problem so they should fix it. Maybe hard rubber or even graphite should make it a lot more durable. I haven't had it long enough for the brushes to where out yet. but I'm sure that's another quick inexpensive fix if the company wants to keep us happy."

"Not too bad..downsider is that you can never shoot helicals through it. Pretty good for starters. Make sure to check your screws, tends to loosen up."

"The rests slides have warn alot however are adjustable to compansate,The bad thing about to many screws is they fall out in the woods in route and you won't know it until its to late.I'm shoping for a new rest with not so many screws."

Wears out fast,

"The rest does what is advertised for the first couple hundred arrows. After that, the launcher pads and brushes become so worn that the arrows fall off the shelf on release. Save yourself the time and money and go with a fall away rest. I have made the switch and couldn't be happier."

Decent rest with durability issues,

"Many other reviewers have mentioned how quickly the brushes wear out. At first my brushes worked very well and ALWAYS held the arrow in place. As they wore, and I adjusted them closer and closer, they have grown smaller and smaller until now they no longer hold the arrow on. I have had it about 2 years though and would estimate over 1000 arrows shot through it. Also it is fairly noisless if you just put a piece of felt or athletic tape over the plastic rest. I have shot quickspins through it and they do not touch anything (unlike some previous poster)."

It is good and bad,

"Good – The rest is easy to adjust. Great functionality in this regard.
Bad – Arrows are not really retained as expected and need to place finger over arrow anyway while moving. Brushes have worn out very quickly; less than a month or 100 arrows.
I think I will try the Quick Tune 3000 Micro next time around."

"I'v had this rest for a year. I hunted with it and shot video league with it. Overall I liked it except that I had to replace the plastic peice the arrow rests on 5 times. It would ware down and start making me shoot to the right. Unless you don't mind spending money on buying extra parts. I would not buy this."

"i loved this product if you have troubles withe the arrow falling of its because of the side suports are not fit for your arrow so you just ajuest them and you get extra velvet for the bottom very well made i would recomend this to any one"

"This rest is excellent. I have tried a few rests including a $130 QAD drop away and nothing compares to the simplicity and trouble free performance of this rest. I have read some reviews that say the arrow will fall off the rest. If the rest is installed correctly and time is taken for proper setup then the rest just plain works. The only draw back for some people is that helical fletching can not be used with this rest. Awesome hunting rest."

"This is the first and only rest I have used, and I have been pleased with the speed and accuracy of my arrows with it. The downsides have been mentioned here before: the brushes wear out, and the rest can make noise when you draw. I sent an email to the company about the brushes and just got an email back saying there are replacements in the mail. The arrow should NOT fall off the rest unless the brushes are worn or you hit a limb or something. Good rest, but I'd love a drop-away if I could afford it right now!"

"I've had different arrow rests in the past but the problem I encounted with this arrow rest is that the arrow falls off the rest if you draw your bow quiet quickly, I would go for a whisker biscuit especially for hunting."

"the rest works ok but I hunt where it is very dusty and the arrow makes a hole lot of noise when you draw back. it is a good rest for beginners but i would not sugest it for any kind of real hunting situations."

"Looking at other reviews it looks like people either love or hate this rest. I love it. The ONLY problem I've had is that I wore out the arrow rest and one of the brushes after running about 100 arrows through it (that's why people's arrows are falling off the rests by the way). The manufacturer sent me a replacment arrow rest and brush kit that was very easy to install. I still love the rest. I'm getting 'killer' groups through it, and though I don't plan to shoot upside down, it makes me happy to know that I could if I wanted to."

"I bought this product about a year ago and it was easy to install but my arrows would not stay on the rest and if you shoot quickspin fletchings they catch on the sides and it will throw your shot off i missed an 8 point because of this. My friend showed me that if your fletchings are catching there will be a piece of rubber where they catch and all three of my fletchings were catching. Would NOT recremend this product to anyone because it will throw your shot off. I could never group arrows when i had it on now i know way."

"for many years I have tried to find a rest that will work for treestand hunting that keeps my arrow in place, this rest WILL increase your accuracy because the vanes wont touch the resr, the only problem is that it makes noise when you draw back and after a while of shooting it the brushes get worn down but they might sell replacements on the dealers website"

"I recently purchased this rest. I found it to be easy to set up. I also like the way it holds the arrow at any angle. I had no trouble getting fletching clearance with either 4" Duravanes or 2 "Blazer vanes. I can't speak for feathers as I haven't tried them yet."

"I have this rest on a Fred Bear Instinct and it works very well holding the arrow in place and does not damage the flecthing at all, the grouping is excellent @ 20,40and 60 yards the only thing is I shoot my bow quite a bit and the whiskers need replaced."
