"I took these jeans down to Baja Mexico to hunt quail. I truly believe that every plant down there has a thorn on it. The jeans did great in protecting my legs and allowing me to get into the nastiest stuff and flush out the birds.

"Listen Guys i gotta tell ya, if your looking for a pant that will do it all this is it. Cabelas Cover Busters are awesome, not only are they affordable but a real asset for those who are willing to go the extra mile to get those late season birds. Guys i did a pretty extensive review of this product before buying 4 pairs of them. And i gotta tell you i've put them to the test, there awesome in sage brush, thorn bushes, russian olives, and dead fall. There not water proof but yes they do shed water believe it or not. For the price i wont buy any thing different. Now if your considering buying them which i would recomend, its important to know that they come a little long In the legs, the waist is perfect, but the length is typically one size bigger than what you'll order. So far this season guys ive killed over 87 pheasents in the rain, wind, and snow and personaly have helped alot of clients, jump birds in some of the nastiest cover and these pants just keep on going hunt after hunt, like the title says there worth every cent!"

"Well made, strong and durable. Used them on a recent Perdiz hunt and they were relatively breathable, much like a pair of jeans. My only minor complaint is that they are very roomy in the legs, which isn't necessarily a problem altough they get in the way when attempting to cross over fences and things."

"I have been looking for a trousers like these for sometime now and at first I was'nt sure about them but now after I have tried them a couple of mornings while flushing some quails over my dogs in tall and wet grass they surely are quit good. But as the days progress and considering the MALTESE climate, they become a little heavy but after a little rest all will be well again."

"Just had a chance to also use these on a recent bird hunt, and I found them to fit well and give enough room for tucking in shirt. No problems in light brush. I can't speak to really heavy briers. Get hemmed a little long so they work with field boots."
