WindShear Fishing Gloves,
August 10, 2009
By DennyW
from Anderson Indiana
|
"The gloves did not hold up well in the palms after fighting a few big halibut. The palms of the gloves broke down from the pressure of hard fighting and reeling in fish. A good leather palm glove would work much better."

Light Use Only,
July 13, 2009
By KingMe67

"I have used these gloves for 3 trips out on the Great Lakes over the last year. I'm not exactly easy on the gloves as I will occasionally use them to help "brake" the downrigger on its descent. The outside rubber coating has worn off of the palms, but the neoprene is holding up to the abuse. Overall they are comfortable, but I wouldn’t recommend them for anything other than “light” use."

Fishing Gloves,
May 12, 2009
By Ez68
from Annandale, MN

"These are pretty good fishing gloves. I have used them for a couple of hours at a stretch and they are comfortable. They don't hold water, so after reaching into a minnow bucket your hands still stay warm. So far so good, after 5 times of use, they are still holding up well."

Great Gloves,
March 3, 2009
By AndC

"I have used a few pairs of wool gloves and finally decided to buy these. I have used them three times now, on the river and out on the saltwater. They work very well. The rubbery grib on the palm gives me more confidence with the grip on the rod while Steelhead fishing and the polar fleese material on top sheds water and dries faster than my previous gloves. Plus no stray fibers getting into my reel. I like them very much. Tight fitting - I bought a medium and I have small hands and they are tight fitting, but that is good in my opinion."

A little stiff,

"I was hoping for something softer to allow more dexterity, but these will be satisfactory for most purposes. The grip of the palm material is a definite plus."

Descent gloves for the money,
December 31, 2008
By Fredburger
from Arkansas, Red River/White River/Norfork
|
"I had a pair of Simms that I used for fishing during those colder days and recently lost one. I had been given a gift card for the holidays which I used the bulk on another purchase. The gloves with the neoprene palm and the fleece fit nicely and have been good to have. I have all ready used them multiple times. The palms were a little stiff at first but after use they have loosened up and keep my hands nice and toasty.
I would have given them 4.5 stars but there was not an option as the are good borderline excellent especially for the money."

"I purchased these gloves for a fall fishing trip. I wanted to keep my hands warm but still have full mobility of my fingertips. These gloves matched all of my requirements. I now find myself wearing these gloves for yard work, driving and more. Fine quality comfort for the price."

WindShear Gloves,
February 20, 2008
By rlwieneke
from Ft. Smith Arkansas
|
"Pros: Warm, cost, good seams, fit well. Cons: I've only had these for about a month and the neopreme is seperating from the palm material and comming off at the thumb opening. If used alot they will only last one season but are inexpensive enough you could get a new pair evey year."
