"I have put two 16-Penny work shirts through a cycle of wear, wash and wear. Both looked great and allowed good movement on the job out of the package. Out of the dryer, however, the collar, pocket flaps and body were about as easy to smooth out as crumpled cardboard. To be clear, there's no way I'm going to iron a work shirt and fabric softener is out of the question. My real concern is the thread failure I began to notice particularly around the cuff stitching. This is rather like putting together a fine piece of outdoor furniture with plain steel nails."

"I wore this shirt under a vest while pheasant hunting several days in South Dakota...came through without a scratch. This is a heavyweight shirt and very tough but not stiff as a board. Performance meets and likely exceeds that of more expensive work shirts."

"These are excellent quality canvas shirts. Some of the seams are triple stitched, extra buttons are included, wrinkling after washing is very minimal, they tend to run a little larger in size so shrinking won't make them too small. There is plenty of length in the tails, so they stay tucked in to trousers. The canvas material is very durable, and won't feel scratchy or picky on bare skin. The front pockets are very deep, and the pocket with the pencil pocket in it, could have been a little wider. The down side to these shirts is that they are only available in three color choices.These are very good looking, and durable shirts, and the button down collars stay crisp looking. A truely great quality product for the money!"

"this shirt is exactly as described, tough as nails. it is warm due to it's density of weave and stays cool because it is 100% cotton. i don't like to own lots of things. just a few items that look good and will last a long time. i'm considering buying the same shirt in another color. my only complaint is that the sleeves are just a little on the short side but i have longer arms. i live in california and this shirt is perfect for being outside in the sun and out through the evening when it cools down to 45 degrees which feels colder because of the large and quick temperature drops we have here. i highly recommend this product for versatile usage."
