Fleece Lined Gloves,September 1, 2009
By BUZE77from Champlain Valley, VT
"Recieved these gloves as a gift to use while waterfowl hunting. Normally I don't like to use gloves as they are too bulky when trying to load shells or even do simple stuff like zip and unzip bags and jackets. These neoprene gloves were much better. They kept my hands warm while providing some dexterity so that I didn't need to take them on and off all the time to get shells out of the blind bag. I think they would work best for really cold early mornings when you need to set up Decoys, blinds, and get started with your hunt. The only complaint I had with them was that my hands sometimes began to sweat too much and become clammy after wearing them for a long period of time. Other then that a good pair of gloves."

Do not buy these gloves,March 9, 2009
By smithjsfrom Sparta, NJ
"I bought these gloves for ice fishing. They leaked on the first day. The neoprene split between my right index and middle finger on the second day. Typically, when I ice fish I do not wear gloves, but thought I would give these a shot. These gloves are a complete waste of money and I will return them when I visit the PA store in a couple of months.
I have purchased many items from Cabela's and am surprised at the complete lack of quality in these gloves...
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!"

Problem Gloves,March 2, 2009
By WheelchairGuyfrom Wixom, Michigan
"Certainly were as warm as I expected. However, the sharkskin palm began to rub off the first time I used them. I wanted a gripper when I use my wheelchair. These left residue on the handrim from the first use. I don't expect to use them much more."

Fleece Lined Gloves on the Alaska Trapline,January 20, 2009
By Moosehntr2from Prince of Wales Island, Alaska
"I purchased a pair of Cabela's fleece lined gloves last fall to use on my marten trapline, hoping they would provide three needed elements: dexterity, waterproofing, and warmth. Here in Southeast Alaska, it is either raining or snowing from December thru March and the taking care of the little things can either improve or hinder your day, and the days add up. As I am generally in a hurry each trap-check day getting to approximately 100 traps and using a headlamp much of the day, I generally hate putting on and taking off gloves at each trap site location, just to check my GPS, set a trap, add bait or re-apply scent, focus my headlamp, drive the atv, etc. etc. These gloves provided everything that I hoped for, as I was able to complete most any trapline task without glove removal. These little things help my efficiency, especially given the short Alaska daylight hours. Ninety two marten later and about 14 beaver, I can say the gloves worked out well and appear to be in shape for another trapping season. The gloves also handled the washing machine process periodically, but especially on those days when my wife noticed (complained ?) of "something smelling" up the entryway. Good product!"

When wet,January 6, 2009

"The gloves do keep my hands and fingers warm, my fingers sweat and when I take them off to dry I have to turn them inside out for them to dry on the inside. If I don't they never get dry on the inside."

nice gloves,December 24, 2008
By akinhifrom Attu Island, AK
"Like all neoprene gloves, your hands will sweat, but they otherwise stay dry when picking up dead birds or decoys. The over the cuff design with the velcro strap all the way around the wrist is superb in keeping the water out. Not only recommended to friends, but one person bought them already and I purchased them for a friend for Christmas. The fleece could be thicker, but then the glove may seem bulky."

So far, so good,December 16, 2008
By TrackerKfrom Wilmington, IL
"These gloves have survived one season. I only use them when I'm putting out or gathering up the decoys, so I haven't really put them through the ringer for durability. My hands stay dry and warm when I'm setting up, allowing me to get back to the blind and switch to gloves that are better suited for shooting. They do what I needed them to do."

"Unless I'm wrong, aren't neoprene gloves suppose to be waterproof. All my other pairs have been. These leaked the first time out. Not like there was a whole, just like they aren't waterproof. Guess I'll send them back and try with a new pair."
