Definitely not sub zero mitens,

"I was incredibly disappointed in these mittens. We just got back from skiing and my hands were frozen. The liner is like a glove and not a mitten liner so your fingers are not touching to hold the warmth.
If the temps are in the 30's then they are fine, but if you are looking for a real sub zero glove, this is not it."

don't like the finger separators,

"These were exactly as advertised. My only problem is that my hands are always cold, and with the fingers separated, it happened again. I am going to give them to my son who is always toasty. They do seem to be waterproof, as my hands never got wet. Maybe Cabela's could come up with a version that is just a plain old fashioned mitten inside."

Ordered Pinnacle mitts for wife after I got mine.,

"Basically great, warm, mittens. Order 2 sizes larger than her hand measures. I ordered one size larger and they were too small. I had to send them back to exchange for 2 sizes larger, which fit.
They come with a draw string wrist cord to keep mittens handy around your wrist when not wearing them. This string was always in the way when donning the mitts. I cut these "childrens" features off the first day and dont regret it."

Comfortable...Still A Bit Cold,

"I really like most of the features on these mitts. The lining is really soft and comfortable. All of the drawstrings work really well. My hands still get a bit cold in them but I am also in the far North so am probably dealing with colder temperatures than most people. I was surprised to find that I take a Ladies Large in these mitts (based on the sizing chart). However I ordered the large and they fit great, so listen to the sizing chart!"

"I wear these gloves while working the lifts at a ski resort. My hands actually get too warm. And that is is 9 degree weather with a 30 mph wind. Great for skiing on cold days too."

"LOVE the gloves except they are missing what I think is an important feature. It would be better if they had a little sleeve or pocket for a heater pack. None exists which means you have to place the heater pack next to your skin (not recommended) or between a liner and the glove (a little bulkier). Otherwise warm and toasty for a typical day. Comfortable fingers."

"FYI I just spent TWO HOURS "fixing" ONE of these mittens. Granted I'm not an experienced sewer, and I do not have a sewing machine, but w/o the "fixing" these mittens are completely worthless. I wore these just for a walk on a 20 degree day, and within 5 minutes, my fingers were freezing. I had to go home and put on a different pair of "real" mittens, not gloves disgused as mittens, as these are."

"These gloves are OK. Mine were defective. The last digits of one glove were not sewn correctly I thought that the gloves were a little bulky. They seem to be warm, but nothing keeps my hands completely warm without hot packs in the gloves."

"After a bit of a shipping mix-up i finally received my mitts and was able to try them out skiing today. It was -13c in the morning, and they kept my hands nice and toasty. No chance to check the waterproof yet. They fit a little on the big side, and the left is slightly larger than the right (about 1/4 inch) which is why i only give 3 stars. Still decent materials and well put together for the price."
