"I purchased these pants online but had to return them because they are 100% cotton. I hunt in southcentral Alaska, where all hunting gear needs to be wool, synthetic, or at least a cotton/synthetic blend. Maybe I missed it, but the ad on cabelas.com said nothing about the material they were made from, but "CoolVent" sounded like a synthetic fabric. I guess I should have called to check first. That´s a suggestion I would make to Cabelas: Please indicate clearly in your ads the type of fabric the clothing you sell is made from. For some of us it really makes a difference!"

"These are durable, comfortable, cool when it's hot, but can be layered when it's cold. I use them for turkey hunting regardless of the weather, and on warmer days for deer. The camo is really good. Best hunting pants I've ever had."

"As advertised these are good for hot weather hunting. Comfortable, cool, and don't pick up sand spurs. Would get 5 stars but the zippers used to open pockets are "dainty" and two hands are needed to open and close. Big fat buttons in the BDU tradition would be better."

"The cut on these pants had the crouch so low it would be impossible to hike in them. As soon as I tried them on I decided to return them. Cabela's needs to take a page out of active clothing makers like Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, etc and improve there fit and long-lasting durability of their camo wear."

"Did a pig and bison hunt in hot Texan terrain. kicked through alot of brush with 85-90 percent humidity and thunderstroms. Found no tears and the pants dryed quickly. Only give it a 4 because I have yet to see how the color holds up to multiple washings and the side cargo pockets are on the inside of the pant reducing storage space."
