Good work Boots,

"I really like the Plain Toe Hikers. I work as a large equipment mechanic and constantly climbing under, over and into large machines. I am working on a concrete floor and at the end of the day my knees and feet don't hurt anymore. I have tried various makers of work boots in this price range and these are by far the best. The last pair I bought didn't last 2 months (another brand). I would whole heartedly recommend these boots."

"I have been wearing them everyday at work for summer work boots. They are very comfortable and break in fast. seem to be holding up so far, but it has only been a week or two now. The only complaint I have is the back side of the boot is not as tall as the front side. I like my boots even all the way around on the top part. Aside from that they are good boots and only time will tell if they hold up as well as all the other Cabela's boots in the past."

Boots are just ok,

"I do not consider my feet wide but these shoes are narrow as stated. I can see the soles are starting to stress and look like they will separate in a short time. They have been tramped through mud and my feet are dry. They are only a month old so we'll see how they last."

Ledger Boots, not too comfortable.,

"The quality of comfort is much less than I had anticipated. Certain points within the boot would chafe continuously and have yet to be worked in so that they won't be felt. I have had these boots for only 3 weeks so far, so they may yet become more comfortable with use. I will say, however, that they are dependably waterproof and so far the leather is durable."

"I use these boots Landscaping and they are the best boots that I have found. The soles have a very good grip and I can walk across wet grassy slopes without having to worry about falling. They are very comfortable yet ruggedly made. They seem like they won't fall apart like my last pair of another brands heavy duty hikers."

"I got these shoes for my husband. He is an auto mechanic. He went thru so many pair in the past year that i coud not believe. I just wanted to get him some really good shoes for his work. He has them for a few weeks now and they really work for him. They are comfortable and breathable, which is really great. They are really strong and they do not break that easy. It is really a great value for your money."

look good but not comfortable,

"I am always looking for good boots to wear for work and also for casual day to day use. I liked the looks of the all leather boots and thought they would be a great replacement for my worn out ones...they look great with jeans. However, i have tried wearing them for several days to break them in and they really hurt my upper ankles. They are so stiff and they lack enough padding in the uppers to be comfortable even though they appear to be well padded. But after lacing them up after 20 minutes they really press into the front of my ankles where the tounge is and become so painful i have to unlace them at work while at my desk. None of my other hikers do this. They look great but could be improved as far as i am concerned with comfort. They are collecting dust now as i can't wear them for work. Maybe sometime when i have nothing better to do i'll try and keep them on my feet."

Good all-around boots,

"I put these on new Thanksgiving week, drove 1,000 miles to Maritime Canada, hiked and did some work on a cabin in wet & snowy conditions. They were warm, dry and totally comfortable, even at the local hockey rink when everyone else was complaining bitterly about sitting through two great games! They give good support and traction, and are light enough to wear while playing frisbee or football with the kids."

"What I like about these boots and all the others I have bought from Cabelas is they feel comfortable right away. They break in fast so I do not need to worry about blisters. I have been buying Cabela boots for several years now and have no plans to change. I am on my feet all day in all kinds of weather and they have never let me down."

seemingly ill-designed boot,

"The plain toe work hiker boots felt fine when worn around the house as recommended. When worn on a one mile jaunt a pain began on both ankles, front inside. I tried the boots the next day and had immediate pain. Examination reveiled a reinforcment in the ankle collar that was unpadded and rubbed directly on the spot where the pain was occurring. I would not buy these boots again, but I would buy another Cabela's product as this the first problem I have ever had with any of my purchases."

"They are warm and dry. Very stiff tho. Ive only put a few miles on mine and hope they break in better. I wouldnt dare order theese for walking long distances. Hopefully they break in soon because Other then the stiffness I like them"
