An okay boot for a small budget,

"If you're absolutely committed to spending less than $100 on a pair of hunting boots, then these will probably fit the bill. The boots are light and they have enough cushion to support the foot well. They are WARM and will be much more appreciated on a cold winter day. They are also priced for the budget minded consumer. All in all a decent boot. But, not a great boot...
While adequate in cushion, I do wonder how well the cushion will hold up. Time will tell, but the cushion does feel inferior to most higher priced boots. The boots are not designed to be close fitting; they are bulky around the ankle and don't snug up very well when laced. They're also weak over the top of the foot, which leads them to wrinkle and fold in awkward areas.
Don't believe the hype you read here about these boots not needing to be broken in; they do. I wore mine all day first day, but it is clear that these boots will need some time to get broken well and fit to the foot.
All in all, this is great pair of boots for winter stand and blind hunting for those of you who will take a four-wheeler to the hunting area. If you're going to be hoofing it all day long, you might want to spend a bit more."

"Overall a good boot for the money. A tough dry boot. My only complaint a little heavy but I felt like this pair of boots was as advertised.
I did get a blister on one heel right away,but this boot has endurance and am looking forward to deer hunting with them."

"Just had a week of bowhunting in Wv. Although it was a little warm for theses boots, I wore them just to see how they work. They worked great. I would order the wide just in case."

"These boots fit like a glove riht out of the box. The sizing was perfict no ned to order a much lager size than usual. generally when buying boots ( any brand) I need to add one siz larger not these I added only 1/2 size larger to accomadate my heavy socks for winter hunting"

"I bought these an a back-up pair to wear if my others got wet. I have started wearing these boots instead of the others. They fit well, have kept my feet warm in 14 degree weather with only one pair of socks, and look good. They are a little heavier than I like and that keeps them from being a five, as well as I want to see how long they last. They are a great value for the price, in my opinion."

"I wore these boots during first season in Iowa deer hunting. It was about 10 degrees and really windy but yet my feet were sweating with a pair of tube socks. Great boot and very comfortable. I would definately recommend them to anyone and they were a great price."

Overwhelmingly Warm Suprise,

"I have bought other boots in the past that were more meant for being in the snow which were way heavier and assumed they would be warmer. I really wish I would have gotten these sooner as they were way warmer then regular snow boots and I barely noticed the weight. I could have thought I was wearing tennis shoes.
I was out on opening day (2008) of the gun season in Northwoods of Wisconsin and when we left the cabin that morning it was about 6 below not including the wind. I did not use any hand or feet warmers in my socks or boots to see how well they would hold up and for future purchasing decisions for my family.
My feet never got cold once and I was out for about 9-10 hours before I got back to the truck. I can't complain at all since they are not heavy and were very warm to my surprise.
Only thing left to try them out in is late summer to early fall to make sure they are not to warm.
I would recommend these to anyone!"

"My first pair of insulated boots. Stayed Dry,Warm and totally satisfied with these excellent for cold weather deer still or stand hunting. Recommend for anyone for cold wet weather with minimal walking - although I didn't mind several mile still hunt stalking a couple days. wore them right out of box no problem with minimal break in required."

"I recently purchased these boots for the vermont rifle season. I recieved them the day before opening morning and was really happy to find out at how warm they were with just A pair of cotton sock. I sat the whole doy in one spot spot and never once got cold. I also liked the fact that they were very light and comfortable. I would definetly recommend these boots to any outdoorsman."
