"OK, so i showed my friends the gun and they were in awe it looks sharp and great, it shoots with all the power anyone shooting a pellet gun will need. What it doesn't have is an accurate reliable scope... Since the day i bough it i've tried to tune it in but i always end up about 7 inches away from my target why? because the scope was loose ... So today i tried to tighten the scope. i tightened, but noticed i put the wrong bracket on the front. i took it off and tightened it again but the screw wouldn't tighten because it had stripped... in all i would never but this gun again. no matter how many times you try to adjust the scope it just wont work.. it is an unreliable piece of junk..."

"its a very powerful gun, i took 3 squirrels and 5 birds out to 40 yards, the scope it comes with is nice, i dont use the flash light or the laser its pretty useless and just adds heavyness to the gun, id recommend this if you want a .177 pellet gun"

"This has to be the most inaccurate gun I've ever owned!! Its also a very loud shooting gun and it is impossible to sight in. You can sight in the laser and use it, but the scope wont stay lined up with the barrel due to it being a break down. The barrel on mine actually keeps comming loose as well. There's no way I'd recomend this to anyone I know!!! NO WAY!!!!"

"I bought the 77 4 weeks ago and tried to sight in the rifle. Would not make a pattern closer than 14 inches at 15 yards. It kicks so bad I had to tighten the scope and all mount screws after each 10 shots. Finally called Crosman when I discovered that the barrel was loose in the chamber. I called today to find out about the rifle and Crosman advised me that they received the rifle one day and sent me a new one the next day. So service from Crosman I might rate 5 stars if I get the rifle back pretty soon. But I will hold comments about the Tac 77 till after I get the new one and see if I can get it working right. If it works right, it appears to be a great idea with a lot of nice options with it! Ref: light, laser, and 3 x 9 scope with lighted cross hairs."

"after about 4 shots, the front scope mount screw stripped and poped out. very unpredictible with shooting pattern. i went ahead and attached another scope that i already had, and this thing is just everywhere. One thing i can say, when you do hit something, it will know it. the power is there. don't use the laser sight, that just seems to be for looks."

"Just received this rifle yesterday it took about an hour and half to asemble all of the componants. The flashlight is bright, the lazer and scope are awesome, and I really like the bipod. Sighting in was tough until I threw away the gamo pba raptor pellets and started shooting crossman pellets. I can't wait for the starlings to show up so I can test it on some critters."
