"The decelerator recoil pad has restored some confidence in shooting my 30-06 rifle. I have not tried any other products of this type, so i have nothing to compare it too. But i am impressed with the amount of recoil it absorbs. I normally bow hunt, but drew a rifle deer tag this year and looking forward to a sucessfull season. The pad has taken the flinch out of my shooting. Fit my gun very well. Does add some lenght, but it is not bothersome. Nice product."

"I bought two, one for my 300 Weatherby mag and the other one for my 8mm Remington mag.Shooting both rifles with their stock recoil pads made it very unpleasant. After replacing the stock recoil pads with Pachmayr Decelerator Slip-On Recoil Pads . I could shoot these rifles all day long now. To me the recoil now, is not that much more then my 30-06."

"Used on a Mossberg 535 shooting 3.5 inch shells. It really helped lower the recoil and stays on the stock just fine. Also does not harm the camo finish."

"I bought this for my new Benelli SBE II. At 6' 3" tall I was looking for an easy way to add some length to the stock. It gave me a full inch increase but even better was what it did to the recoil of my 3" turkey loads with 2 oz. of shot. Made it feel like I was shooting 2 3/4" loads instead. This pad is also a much better quality than other slip on pads I have tried with other guns. Unbeatable for the price."

"This pad was priced very reasonably. The fit and finish seems pretty good. It fit my 30+ year old Stevens side-by-side
very good. It replaced the OLD slip-on that was on the gun (and falling apart). The gun still feels the same. The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 is because I haven't tried it out shooting (trap) yet. Overall, I would recomend it."

"The Pachmayr slip-on recoil pad works great. Really took the bite out of my 338 Win-mag. It fit the stock very well and will not slip off. It does make the gun a little long, but I can live with that. Great product. Good quality. Good price."

"Needed to add LOP on my 1100 12ga. and didn't feel like spending $75 for a custom recoil pad. This works great - isn't real fancy looking but it's a marsh gun so I didn't care. Would recommend."

"In the last couple of months I've been in 2 trap shooting events where I used my old 12 ga Stevens side by side field shotgun and shot over 100 shells in each event. I needed more length to the stock, so in the 1st event I used a leather slip on recoil pad. In the 2nd event, I used the Pachmayer. Not only did it give me an extra 3/8" to the stock but the recoil was dramatically reduced (not a small matter when using an old gun like mine). A few other shooters were impressed and asked me the name of the slip on and where I bought it. Great product at a fantastic price."
