"I admit, I was skeptical, especially considering the hefty price tag, BUT, I was not disappointed when I took a chance on this tool. We have a black lab, and needless to say, he sheds terribly, especially in the summer. The first time we used it, we removed a TON of hair, and I have noticed less hair on the floors and furniture. I even tried it out a little bit on our beagle/dachshund, and got a ton of soft, fuzzy hair off her, too. This tool is worth the price!"

"i got the med deshedder and i can't beleave in how good it did work i used it today due to getting home late from cabela's in wv.i had called and asked a employee in whitch one would be good for my dog telling him that i had a brittany and he said the one for him was a med.one i recommend these highly.to everyone and wil tell my friends about it too i might even show that how good it works thank you cabela's for having such good emloyee's that know want they're talking about"

"Although pricey (I've seen it for less elsewhere), this brush works amazingly well. I've used pin brushes before and thought they were effective. Not even close! I have the small and use it on my 60# lab. The dog should be bald, but it keeps pulling out more and more hair. I've showed several friends and they love it too. I don't know how well it would work on a really long haired breed, but for labs, I can vouch that you won't find a better brush."

"Wow! Have a big bag ready for the job. You will need it. Works better then any other brush I have used. My Akita was leaving hair all over the place and making my wife very unhappy. After filling up a shopping bag with hair, both my wife and dog are happier and my life got better. It's like taking your dog's long johns off for the summer. He is a lot cooler and happier. "I have used all kinds of brushes, combs, etc on my 37 years with labs. The furminator is the best tool I have ever used to get the loose hair off of the dogs. I puchased the medium since my wife has a Jack Russell. It works great on both. My 6 month old lab that weighs 50 lbs and the JR weighs 15. Its amazing how much hair comes off of both dogs even though we brush them about once a week. Now my wife and I dont have to use the dog hair remover (tape roller thingie) on each others clothes before we leave the house anymore. My only regret is that I didnt invent the FURminator."

"I have a 90 lb. lab which is constanting shedding. So I thought I would try the large Furminator. It works as advertized, a couple times a week you will be amazied how well it works. It won't cure the problem of a shedding lab but it does make a difference. Its like anything else you have to stay with it. Very pleased and I would recommend it to a friend."
