"We use this Scent-Lok head cover for all our archery hunts. Very quiet and the face opening area adjusts well using the draw strings in the back. This hood cover is the real deal and as light as they come in Scent-Lok items. Everyone in our group uses these hoods. We backpack into wilderness areas and carry two of everything Scent-Lok and rotate them out after four days.
The face opening area is large but we like it that way. Depending on the situation and temperatures you have your choice to use the open area as a full face cover with only eye area openly visible or you can pull the opening and expose most of your face. All you need to do is camo paint your face as good as your mask looks prior to going into the field and the game will never know the difference. The other good thing about this flexability of the opening is that if you have not practiced shooting alot with the mask on. You can expose your face and set your kisser button and anchor against your face as needed.
Go in...in the dark and come out in the dark. Good Hunting"

"Not a good face mask. Eye opening much to large. Wore this mask for the first time and fiddled with the adjustment strings all afternoon until I finally gave up and let it hang below my chin. When the first doe of Illinois bow season showed up, she looked up and busted me because my face was showing. Not pleased with fit of mask at all. Would not recommend."

"I got this to use on my elk hunt in Montana in September. I was pleased with how light and comfortable it is, but the drawstrings are a little awkward and prone to tangling. Also there are no ear holes or mesh. So in order to hear well, I had to pull my ears out the sides. It looked a little goofy, but I got the elk."

"Great fitting, lightweight, breathable headcover. Have tried it on, but have not had the opportunity to hunt with it, yet. Large opening allows you to pull it open enough to keep your ears completely uncovered. Seems to stay in place once adjusted, even when moving your head side to side and up and down. Can be worn over the nose or with nose exposed."

"I have used the Scent Lok products for a few years now and I am firmly in favor of this techonology. I am a big spot and stalk hunter and having the camo coverage as well as the scent protection, which a major portion comes from breath, has aided me in many hunts. The draw strings make the fit easy and reliable. The fabric is thin enough to fit under my boonie cap without much effort and I can wear it all day. Even in a tree-stand environment, where a hunter will be in the same spot for many hours, this headgear has helped me. Multiple deer and predator animals have lingered directly under me for extended periods of time using scent lok products."

"This mask is great for bow hunting. The fabric is not too thick and, if you use the string adjustments correctly, you can get it to fit close to your face, allowing you to find your anchor point when drawing a bow. If you can’t find your anchor, the mask can be easily dropped it without bunching or falling over your eyes.
I used the mask early season to late season. It did not completely block the wind in sub-zero hunts, but provided enough protection to keep me on my stand for hours. When it really got cold (well below zero), I layered a Cabelas Camoskinz mask underneath for additional protection.
This is the best facemask I have ever used and I have purchased two more for next season"
